Առանձին քնելը կնպաստի հարաբերությունների ամրապնդմանը

Մինչ շատերը կարող են մտածել, որ առանձին քնելը զույգերի հարաբերությունների վրա կարող է վատ անդրադառնալ, պետք է նշել, որ վերջին հետազոտությունները ցույց են տվել, որ առանձին քնելը կարող է ոչ միայն լավ անդրադառնալ զույգերի հարաբերությունների վրա, այլև դրական ազդեցություն ունենալ նրանց անհատական առողջության վրա:
Տորոնտոյի Րիերսոնի համալսարանի գիտնականների անցկացրած հետազոտությունները ցույց են տվել, որ զույգերի 30-ից 40%-ը քնում է առանձին: Մասնագետները նշում են, որ իրականում սա ավելի շատ դրական է ազդում զույգերի հարաբերությունների վրա, քան խանգարում նրանց: Քոլին Քարնին` հետազոտության հեղինակը, CBC-ի հետ իր հարցազրույցում նշել է, թե նույնիսկ եթե մարդիկ նշում են, թե միասին ավելի լավ են քնում, դա կարող է իրականությանը չհամապատասխանել, քանի որ նրանց ուղեղների հետազոտությունը ցույց է տվել, որ ամեն մի փոքր շարժումից ու ձայնից նրանք կարող են արթնանալ, որն էլ նրանց քնի որակը չի կարող բարձր պահել: Ուղեղի հետազոտությունից պարզ է դարձել, որ զույգերի մոտ խորը քնի փուլը տեղի չի ունենում:
Քարնին նաև նշում է, որ այն պատկերացումները, թե եթե զույգերը միասին չեն քնում, ուրեմն ռոմանտիկ չեն և խնդիրներ ունեն, իրականությանը չի համապատասխանում: Նա նշում է, թե շատ զույգեր բաժանվելուց ու առանձին քնելուց հետո հասկանում են, որ պետք է նորից միանան. ստացվում է, որ առանձին քնելը կարող է նաև կարգավորել հարաբերությունները:
Մինչ շատ զույգեր կարող են առանձին մահճակալներում քնել, կան նաև զույգեր, ովքեր նույնիսկ սենյակներով են առանձնանում: Այսպիսին է Րիզա և Լանս Լիեր զույգը Կանադայի Հալիֆաքս քաղաքից: Հարցազրույցում Րիզան նշել է, թե շատ ժամանակ նա ուղղակի գետնին է քնել, որպեսզի չարթնացնի ամուսնուն: Կինը նշել է, թե նրանք նույնիսկ պատրաստվում էին բաժանվել, և արդեն կլրանար նրանց բաժանության 15 տարին, եթե չորոշեին առանձնացնել սենյակները: Զույգը խոստովանում է, որ առանձին սենյակներում քնելուն խանգարում էին միայն հասարակության կողմից նրանց այդ քայլը չընդունելը, նրանց հարաբերությունների մասին հասարակության սխալ պատկերացումները, սակայն նրանց հաջողվում է հաղթահարել այդ խնդիրը, և նրանք այժմ նույնքան ռոմանտիկ ու երջանիկ են, որքան նրանց համատեղ կյանքի առաջին տարիներին:
