Դեռևս 2009 թվականին արվել էլ մի հետազոտությունը, որն անվանվում էր ‹‹Գիշերային բուերը շատ ավելի խելացի են››: Բնականից, առանց արտաքին ազդակների արթնանալը մարդը ձեռք է բերել էվոլյուցիայի արդյունքում: Այսպիսով, նրանք ովքեր անտեսում են զարթուցիչը և արթնանում են այն ժամանակ, երբ լիարժեք քնել են, շատ ավելի խելացի են:
Հետազոտության արդյունքում պարզվել, որ նրանք ովքեր սիրում են մի լավ քնել ավելի խելացի են, նպատակասլաց, հակված են իրենց երազանքներն իրականություն դարձնել, կարողանում են լուծել իրենց առջև ծառացած խնդիրները, ավելի ինքնուրույն են և կրեատիվ:

Այսպիսով մի՛ տանջեք ձեզ մեղքի զգացումից, երբ չեք կարողանում առավոտյան շուտ արթնանալ, դուք պարզապես խելացի եք: Իսկ եթե ձեզ կշտամբում են, ապա կարող եք ասել, որ ձեզ նման խելացի մարդիկ հարկադրված չեն արևի առաջին շողերի հետ արթնանալ:
