ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը իրանական միջուկային ծրագրի վերաբերյալ Թեհրանի հետ կնքնված համաձայնագիրը որակել Է որպես «վատթարագույն գործարքը»:
«Դա վատթարագույն գործարքն Է, որը ես երբեւԷ տեսել եմ: Ամոթ Է, որ մենք նման գործարք են կնքել»,- ասել Է նա փետրվարի 5-ին Fox News հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում: ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահը համոզված Է, որ «դա անելու պատճառներ չկային»: «Իրանը կորցրել Է հարգանքը, որովհետեւ կարծում Է, թե բոլորն այդքան հիմար են, որ նմանօրինակ գործարքներ են կնքում»,- ասել Է Թրամփը:
Պատասխանելով Իրանի միջուկային հիմնախնդրի հնարավոր ռազմական լուծման վերաբերյալ հարցին՝ ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահը նշել Է, որ «մենք երբեք ռազական լուծման մասին չենք խոսել, մենք քննադատում Էին նախագահ Օբամային»:
«Տեսնենք, թե ինչ կլինի»,- ասել Է Թրամփը:
Նա նաեւ Իրանը համարել Է «թիվ մեկ ահաբեկչական պետությունը, որն աշխարհում բոլորին փող ու զենք Է մատկարարում», հաղորդել Է «Ինտերֆաքս»-ը:
