Մոսկվան համոզված է, որ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամբի վարչախմբի պայքարը ահաբեկչության դեմ ավելի ծանրակշիռ եւ նշանակալից արդյունքներ կտա, քան Բարաք Օբամայի օրոք էր։ Այդ մաիսն ՏԱՍՍ–ի ասել է Ռուսաստանի արտգործնախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը։

Թրամփի վարչախումբը, նշել է նա, «Սպիտակ տանը պաշտոնավարելու առաջին իսկ օրերից անցել է «Իսլամական պետության» դեմ պայքարի որոշակի, այս փուլում թեկուզ եւ միանվագ գործողության»։

«ԱՄՆ–ի ներկայիս վարչախումբը, ըստ իս, ավելի քիչ գաղափարական է եւ ավելի շատ միտված է որոշակի արդյունքի հասնելուն», – ասել է Լավրովտ», – «Արդյունքը, համոզված եմ, նման մոտեցման դեպքում ավելի ծանրակշիռ եւ նշանակալից է լինելու»։

Լավրովի խոսքով, Թրամփի դիրքորոշումը դրական ազդեցություն է ունենում համատեղ հակաահաբեկչական ճակատի ձեւավորման ընդհանուր իրավիճակի վրա։ «Նախ, մենք դեռ պետք է տեսնենք եւ հասկանանք, թե ինչում է կայանալու Թրամփի վարչախմբի գործնական քայլերի էությունը», – նշել է Ռուսաստանի արտգործնախարարը, – «Այժմ նրանք ակտիվորեն համալրում են Պետդեպարտամենտի, Ազգային անվտանգության խորհուրդը եւ վարչախմբի մյուս ստորաբաժանումները։ Երբ այս գործընթացն ավարտվի, մենք կկարողանանք անցնել նորմալ երկխոսության»։ Այդ ժամանակ, ըստ նրա, ավելի պարզ կլինի, թե որքան սերտ կարող է լինել Ռուսաստանի եւ ԱՄՆ–ի համագործակցությունը։

Ուկրաինայի խնդիրների էությունը խորապես ըմբռնելու՝  նախագահ Թրամփի ցանկությունը Ռուսաստանի արտգործնախարարը համարում է «որակական առաջընթաց»՝ Օբամայի վարչախմբի դիրքորոշման համեմատ։  «Սա մեծ որակական առաջընթաց է Օմաբայի վարչախմբի համեմատ, որը փորձում էր ամեն ինչ մեզանից պահանջել, իսկ Պորոշենկոյին ամեն կերպ պաշտպանում էր», – եզրափակել է Սերգեյ Լավրովը:
