«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Վարչապետի որոշմամբ` Սյունիքի նախկին մարզպետ Սուրիկ Խաչատրյանի անունը հանվել է Գորիսի պետական համալսարանի խորհրդի կազմից: Բուհի խորհրդի նոր կազմի նախագահ է դարձել Սյունիքի մարզպետ Վահե Հակոբյանը: 
Ուշագրավ է, որ նախկին մարզպետ Սուրիկ Խաչատրյանի երկու մտերիմները՝ «Երևան ՋԷԿ»-ի տնօրեն նշանակված Սասուն Խաչատրյանը, ով Սուրիկ Խաչատրյանի հորեղբոր տղան է, և Գորիսի քաղաքապետ Վաչագան Ադունցը, վերընտրվել են բուհի խորհրդի կազմում: 


Սյունիքի նախկին մարզպետ Սուրիկ Խաչատրյանը «Փաստի» հարցին, թե ինչպես է գնահատում իր հեռացումը խորհրդի կազմից, ասաց. «Նորմալ, դե, մարզպետը պետք ա լինի խորհրդի կազմում, էդ ա»: 


Հետաքրքրվեցինք նաև, թե ինքը հիմա ՀՀԿ-ին աջակցում է և կապեր ունի տեղի ՀՀԿ կառույցի հետ: Սուրիկ Խաչատրյանն այսպես պատասխանեց. «Իհարկե աջակցում եմ, ՀՀԿ կառույցը պետք ա ինձ հետ կապ ունենա, ես ի՞նչ կապ ունենամ իրա հետ»: 
Նշենք, որ հունվարի 3-ին Սուրիկ Խաչատրյանը հրաժարվեց Սյունիքի ՀՀԿ կառույցի ղեկավարի պաշտոնից և կառույցի ղեկավար դարձավ ներկա մարզպետ Վահե Հակոբյանը: 


«ՀՀԿ-ի կառույցը կա, ես էլ հիմնադիրն եմ էդ կառույցի՝ 20 տարի ամբողջ մարզում, և էդ կառույցը գործել ա, գործում ա, ես էլ աջակցելու եմ էդ մարդկանց հետ միասին էս ընտրություններին»,- ասաց նա:
Հիշեցնենք, որ Նոր տարուց առաջ Սուրիկ Խաչատրյանը հայտարարեց, որ չի մասնակցելու առաջիկա խորհրդարանական ընտրություններին ու չի առաջադրվելու:
