Կալիֆոռնիայի նահանգապետը արտակարգ դրություն Է հայտարարել ամբարտակի քանդվելու կապակցությամբ

Կալիֆոռնիայի նահանգի նահանգապետ Ջերի Բրաունը կարգադրել Է արտակարգ դրություն սահմանել նահանգում ԱՄՆ-ի ամենաբարձր ամարտակի քանդվելու եւ մի շարք բնակավայրերում տարհանում հայտարարելու կապակցությամբ: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ասված Է նահանգապետի կայքում:
«Ես սերտ կապ եմ պահպանում արտակարգ ծառայությունների աշխատակիցների հետ, որոնք զբաղվում են Օրովիլի իրադրությամբ»,-ասված Է նահանգապետի կայքում հրապարակված հայտարարության մեջ: «Նահանգ անհրաժեշտ անձնակազմ եւ ռեսուրսներ են ուղարկվում այդ լուրջ իրադրությունը կարգավորելու համար»,- հայտնել Է նահանգապետը:
Կալիֆոռնիայի իշխանությունները հայտնել են գրեթե 130 հազար մարդու տարհանման մասին: Associated Press գործակալության տվյալներով՝ տարհանումը տարածվում Է Լայվ Օք, Մերիսվիլ, Ուիթլենդ, Փլամաս Լեյք, Օլիվհերսթ, Գրիդլի, Օրովիլ, Յուբա սիթի քաղաքների եւ բնակավայրերի վրա: Իշխանությունները նաեւ Օրովիլ լճում ջրի մակարդակի իջեցման գործողություններ են ձեռնարկում: 
Ավելի վաղ, բացի Օրովիլից, ցուցակում հիշատակվում Էին Ֆեթեր գետի երկայնքով ընկած բնակավայրերը, այդ թվում՝ Գրիդլին, Բիգսը, Յուբա սիթին, Լոմա Ռիկան:
Սաստիկ անձրեւները հանգեցրել են հիմնական, իսկ այնուհետեւ օժանդակ ջրնետի ողողամաշման: Օկրուգի շերիֆը հայտարարել Է, որ վթարային  ջրնետի քանդվելը կարող Է հանգեցնել «Օրովիլ լճից ջրի անվերահսկելի նետման»: Վթարից խուսափելու համար ջրի նետումն ուժեղացվել Է մինչեւ րոպեում 100 հազար խորանարդ ֆուտ (2,8 հազար խորանարդ մետր):
Լճում ջրի ծավալը գնահատվում Է ավելի քան 4,3 միլիարդ խորանարդ մետր, ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
