Բեռլինում ԳԴՀ տնտեսության և էներգետիկայի նախարարության և ՀՀ միջազգային տնտեսական ինտեգրման և բարեփոխումների նախարարության հովանու ներքո փետրվարի 15-ին կայացել է Հայ-գերմանական տնտեսական ֆորումը, որը կազմակերպել էր Գերմանիայում Հայաստանի դեսպանությունը Գերմանիայի տնտեսության արևելյան հանձնաժողովի, Գերմանիայի մանր և միջին ձեռնարկատերերի միության, Տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների Գերմանական «Բիթկոմ միության» և Գերմանիայի դաշնային առևտրաարդյունաբերական պալատի հետ համատեղ: 

Ֆորումի հիմնական նպատակը գերմանական ընկերություններին Հայաստանի ներդրումային դաշտին, տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների, ենթակառուցվածքների և էներգետիկայի ոլորտներում հայ-գերմանական համագործակցության ընդլայնման հեռանկարներին ծանոթացնելն էր:

Ֆորումին բացման խոսքով հանդես է եկել ՀՀ փոխվարչապետ, Միջազգային տնտեսական ինտեգրման և բարեփոխումների նախարար Վաչե Գաբրիելյանը, ՀՀ տրանսպորտի, կապի և տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների նախարար Վահան Մարտիրոսյանը, Տնտեսության և էներգետիկայի հարցերով Գերմանիայի դաշնային պետքարտուղար  Մաթիաս Մախնիգը:

Ոջունելով հայկական կողմին՝ Մախնիգը հույս է հայտնել, որ սույն համաժողովը կարևոր հարթակ կդառնա երկու երկրների գործարար շրջանակաների շփումների աշխուժացման և, ընդհանրապես հայ-գերմանական գործարար կապերի խորացման համար:

Բանախոսը նշել է, որ ԳԴՀ պետական մարմինները պատրաստ են աջակցել գերմանացի գործարարներին Հայաստանում բիզնես ծավալելու հարցում, իսկ Գերմանիայի տնտեսության արևելյան հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Բյուխելեն իր խոսքում նշել է, որ Հայաստանը, հանդիսանալով ԵԱՏՄ անդամ, կարող է կամրջող դեր ստանձնել ԵՄ-ԵԱՏՄ անդամ երկրների միջև, քանզի դ րա համար իրավապայմանագրային տեսանկյունից առկա են բոլոր պայմանները:

Ողջունելով գերմանացի գործարար շրջանակների ներկայացուցիչներին՝ Վաչե Գաբրիելյանը ներկայացրել էՀայաստանի տնտեսական հնարավորությունները, օրենսդրական, հարկային, մաքսային առանձնահատկությունները և վերստին  կարևորեց Հայաստանի կապող դերը ԵԱՏՄ-ԵՄ հարաբերություններում:

ՀՀ տրանսպորտի, կապի և տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների նախարար Վահան Մարտիրոսյանը ներկայացրել էՀՀ-ում ընթացող խոշոր ենթակառուցվածքային ծրագրերը, ՏՏ ոլորտում Հայաստանի առաջընթացը  և հեռանկարները:

Ֆորումի ծրագրում ընդգրկված էին երեք հիմնական բաժիններ՝ ՏՏ, տրանսպորտ և ենթակառուցվածքներ, էներգետիկայի ոլորտներ:

Ֆորումին մասնակցել են 10-ից հայկական ավելի ընկերություններ:
