«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

«The Social Progress Imperative» միջազգային հետազոտական ծրագիրը հրապարակել է աշխարհի երկների ռեյտինգն ըստ սոցիալական առաջընթացի մակարդակի:
Սոցիալական առաջընթացի ինդեքսը «The Social Progress Imperative» միջազգային հետազոտական ծրագրի համակարգված ցուցանիշն է, որը չափում է աշխարհի երկրների ձեռքբերումները՝ դրանց հասարակական բարեկեցության և սոցիալական զարգացվածության տեսանկյունից:
Սոցիալական առաջընթացի մակարդակով աշխարհի երկրների ռեյտինգում Հայաստանը ոչ այնքան վատ դիրքերում է: 

Վերոնշյալ կազմակերպության կողմից արված հետազոտությունը վերաբերում է 2015 թ., որի վերաբերյալ վերջին թարմացումը կատարվել է նախորդ տարվա հոկտեմբերին: Ամենամյա հետազոտության ղեկավարը Մայքլ Փորթերն է:
Հետազոտությունների գործընթացին ներգրավվել են մի շարք համաշխարհային հայտնիություն ունեցող առաջատար համալսարաններ և հետազոտական կենտրոններ, ներառյալ Հարվարդի բիզնեսի դպրոցը և Մասաչուսեթսի տեխնոլոգիական ինստիտուտը:
Ըստ հետազոտության՝ վերջին տվյալներով աշխարհում սոցիալական առաջընթացի ամենաբարձր ինդեքսն ունի Նորվեգիան: Սկանդինավյան այս թագավորության ինդեքսը կազմել է գրեթե 90՝ 88,36: Երկրորդ և երրորդ հորիզոնականները համապատասխանաբար 88,06 և 87,97 ինդեքսով զբաղեցրել են Շվեդիան և Շվեյցարիան:

Հայաստանն այս սանդղակում հաստատուն կերպով զբաղեցրել է 61–րդ հորիզոնականը: Հայաստանի սոցիալական առաջընթացի ինդեքսը կազմել է 65,70: Նշենք, որ ուսումնասիրությունը պարունակում է 133 երկրի ցուցանիշ: Ստացվում է, որ մենք «մեջտեղներում» ենք, ինչը բավական ուրախալի փաստ կարելի է համարել: Սակայն շտապել ուրախանալ պետք չէ: Թուրքիան այս շարքում մեզնից երեք աստիճան բարձր է կանգնած և ունի 66,24 ինդեքսը: Մեզնից առաջ է գտնվում նաև հարևան Վրաստանը՝ այն զբաղեցրել է 60–րդ տեղը, իսկ նրա ինդեքսը կազմել է 65,89: 
Սրա հետ միասին Հայաստանն, ըստ այս հետազոտության, առաջ է անցել Ուկրաինայից, Ռուսաստանից, Ադրբեջանից, Իրանից, Հնդկաստանից և շատ ու շատ այլ երկրներից՝ իր ետևում թողնելով 72 երկիր: Ի դեպ նշենք, որ Ռուսաստանը, Ադրբեջանն ու Իրանը զբաղեցրել են համապատասխանաբար 71–րդ, 76–րդ և 95–րդ հորիզոնականները:
Ամենից ցածր ինդեքս են ունեցել Աֆղանստանը և Աֆրիկյան երկու պետություններ՝

Չադն ու ՀԱՀ–ը, համապատասխանաբար՝ 35.40, 33.17 և 31.42:
Հավելենք, որ հետազոտությունը ներառում է այն երկրները, որոնք ճշգրիտ ցուցանիշներ են ունեցել: Այն հիմնված է հասարակական գնահատականի հարցումների (12%), զարգացման ոլորտի մասնագետների գնահատականների (25%) և միջազգային կազմակերպությունների տրամադրած ստատիկ տեղեկատվության (61%) համադրման վրա:

Սոցիալական առաջընթացի գործընթացում այս կամ այն երկրի հաջողությունները արձանագրելիս հաշվի են առնվում ավելի քան 50 ցուցանիշ՝ ներառված երեք հիմնական խմբերում: Դրանք են՝ մարդու հիմնական կարիքները, մարդկանց բարեկեցության հիմքերը և մարդկանց զարգացման հնարավորությունները: Ինդեքսը չափում է յուրաքանչյուր երկրի ձեռքբերումները 0–ից 100 նիշի սանդղակով՝ վերոնշյալ երեք բազային կատեգորիաներից ստացված տվյալների հիման վրա:
