Գիտնականները հետազոտել և ապացուել են, որ կեսարյան հատման ճանապարհով երեխա ունենալը, եթե դրա համար չկան լուրջ պատճառներ, վտանգավոր է ոչ միայն մոր, այլև երեխայի առողջությանը։
Երեխայի միկրոֆլորան, ինչը փոխանցվում է մոր մարմնից դուրս, տարբերվում է բնական ճանապարհով ծնված երեխաների միկրոֆլորայից։ Ինչպես պնդում են գիտնականները՝ ոչ բնական ճանապարհով ծնված երեխաների հետագա հիվանդությունների հիմնական պատճառը հենց դա է։
Գիտնակաները եկել են այն եզրահանգման, որ բնական ճանապարհով մոր արգանդից դուրս եկած երեխան ստանում է բնական, անհրաժեշտ միկրոֆլորան մոր օրգանիզմից, այնինչ՝ կեսարյան հատման ճանապարհով ծնվածները այն չեն ստանում։ Կեսարյան հատման ճանապարհով երեխա ունեցած կանանցից, ծննդաբերությունից անմիջապես հետո վերցրել են միկրոֆլորայի տվյալներ բերանից, կոկորդից, քթից և մաշկից, նույնը արել են նաև նորածիններին։
Արդյունքում պարզ է դարձել, որ երեխաները չեն ստացել բանական միկրոֆլորա, այսինքն՝ լույս աշխարհ են եկել առանց ահնրաժեշտ բակտերոլոգիական պաշտպանության։
Ոչ բնական ճանապարհով ծնված երեխաները ունեում են մեկ տիպի միկրոֆլորա մարմնի բոլոր հատվածներում, իսկ բնական ճանապարհով ծնվածների մոտ դա բազմազան է՝ բերանում այլ, քթում այլ։ Այն ինչ գիտանականները բացահայտեցին հետազոտման արդյունքում, ապացուցում է, որ կեսարյան ճանապարհով ծնված երեխաների առողջությունը վտանգված է:
Հայտնի է նաև, որ ոչ բնական ճանապարհով ծնված երեխաները առավել հակված են սնկային և մաշկային հիվանդություններ ունենալուն, քան՝ բնական ճանապարհով ծնված երեխաները։
