Ֆրանսիայի ԱԳ նախարար Ժան-Մարկ Էյրոն հայտարարել է, որ մտահոգված է 2018 թվականին Ռուսաստանում նախանշված նախագահական ընտրությունների առիթով: ՌԴ ԱԳՆ մամուլի ծառայության հաղորդմամբ՝ այս մասին նա հայտարարել է Մյունխենում նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ:

«Սերգեյ, որպես կատակ. ես անհանգստացած եմ 2018 թվականի Ռուսաստանի նախագահական ընտրությունների առիթով: Չգիտեմ՝ ով կհաղթի ընտրություններում: Շատ եմ մտահոգված»,- ասել է նա:

Լավրովն իր հերթին նշել է, որ մտահոգությունն արդարացի է, քանի որ «մեր վրա այնպես են հարձակվում»:

Երկու երկրների ԱԳ նախարարները հանդիպման ընթացքում խոսել են սիրիական ճգնաժամի կարգավորման, Լիբիայում տիրող իրադրության մասին: Լավրովն ու Էյրոն հաստատել են միջազգային հրատապ հարցերի լուծման գործում Ռուսաստանի եւ Ֆրանսիայի փոխգործակցության կարեւորությունը:
