5. Նա դուրս է մնացել երկու դպրոցներից
Բրանդոյին հեռացրել են ավագ դպրոցից՝ միջանցքում մոտոցիկլետ քշելու համար, և նրա հայրը ստիպված էր որդուն Մինեսոտա ուղարկել՝ Շատուկի ռազմական ակադեմիայում սովորելու: Բրանդոն գրում է, որ այնտեղ մի անգամ բարձրացել է զանգակատուն, հանել է չափազանց ծանր զանգված ունեցող լեզվակը և թաղել քիչ ավելի հեռվում: Խորամանկ երիտասարդն այնուհետև մի խումբ է ձևավորել՝ իբր թե փնտրելու համար մեղավորին: Նա այդպես էլ չբռնվեց, սակայն այլ «հանցանքների» համար այստեղից էլ է վտարվել: Դրանից հետո՝ 1943 թ., տեղափոխվել է Նյու Յորք՝ քրոջ հետ ապրելու համար:

Նյու Յորքում՝ Best & Co. ընկերության շենքում Բրանդոն որպես վերելակավար է աշխատել: Մի այլ գործարանում նա նաև գիշերային պահակի աշխատանք է ունեցել:

Muttiny on the Bount (1962)-ն նկարահանելիս Բրանդոն առաջին անգամ տեսավ Տետիարոան՝ ատոլ, որը գտնվում է Տահիտիի գլխավոր կղզուց փոքր-ինչ հյուսիս: Վեց տարի շարունակ դրան «սիրահարված լինելով»՝ Բրանդոն գնեց այն: Այսօր այն գործում է որպես հանգստի համալիր՝ կոչվելով «The Brando»:
2. Նա Բյորթ Ռեյնոլդսի «երկրպագուն» չէր
Երբ նա իմացավ, որ Բյորթ Ռեյնոլդսը հավակնում է Մայքլ Կորլեոնեի դերում խաղալուն «Կնքահայրը» ֆիլմում, Բրանդոն ասաց, որ կհրաժարվի Վիտոյի դերից, եթե Ռեյնոլդսը դերասանական կազմում ընդգրկվի: Բրանդոն ասում էր, որ Ռեյնոլդսը «այնպիսի մի կերպարանք է, որին ամեն անգամ տեսնելիս ցանկանում է պատուհանից դուրս շպրտել»:
1. Մեկ օրով աշխատել է «Scary Movie 2» ֆիլմի կազմում
Բրանդոյին $2 մլն էին վճարել այս ֆիլմում որպես քահանա հանդես գալու համար, սակայն նա թողեց այդ գործը, երբ հոսպիտալացվեց թոքաբորբի պատճառով: «Նա թթվածնային դիմակ էր կրում, և մենք համոզված էինք, որ ուղղակի նրան հիվանդանոց տանել է հարկավոր: Նա առողջ չէր»,- ասել է աստղ Շոուն Ուայանսը:
