 Նյու Յորքում արտգործնախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը սեպտեմբերի 26-ին մասնակցել է ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 70-րդ նստաշրջանի շրջանակներում կազմակերպված Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության անդամ երկրների արտգործնախարարների՝ Սենագալի նախագահության կողմից կազմակերպած հանդիպմանը։

Ինչպես Արմենպրես-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, անդրադառնալով երկու շաբաթից Երևանում մեկնարկող ՖՄԿ արտգործնախարարների 31-րդ համաժողովին՝ Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը ներկայացրել է հանդիպման օրակարգում ընդգրկված հարցերը և նշեց, որ Հայաստանն ուրախ է հյուրընկալելու նման հեղինակավոր և ներկայացուցչական միջազգային կոնֆերանսը։

Իր խոսքում Էդվարդ Նալբադյանը անդրադարձել է մարդկության դեմ հանցագործությունների կանխարգելմանը, հակամարտությունների կարգավորմանը, անհանդուրժողականության և այլատյացության դեմ պայքարին, վերջին շրջանում մեծ թափ ստացած միգրացիոն հոսքերին առնչվող խնդիրներին, Փարիզում այս տարվա վերջին կայանալիք կլիմայական փոփոխություններին նվիրված գագաթաժողովին։

Ընդգծելով, որ Երևանում կայանալիք արտգործնախարարների համաժողովին սպասվում է շուրջ 80 անդամ և դիտորդ պատվիրակությունների մասնակցություն՝ Հայաստանի արտգործնախարարը հույս է հայտնել, որ երևանյան հանդիպումը կարևոր ներդրում կունենա Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության ամրապնդման և միջազգային բեմահարթակում նրա դերակատարության բարձրացման գործում։
