ԱՄՆ-ն ներկա պահին չի փոխել իր դիրքորոշումը իսլամական քարոզիչ Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենի արտահանձնման հարցում, որին Անկարան մեղադրում է անցյալ տարվա հուլիսին տեղի ունեցած հեղաշրջման անհաջող փորձի կազմակերպման մեջ: ТАСС գործակալության փոխանցմամբ` այս մասին հայտնել են Սպիտակ տանը կից գործող Ազգային անվտանգության խորհրդի մամուլի կենտրոնից:

«Ոչ մի փոփոխություն այդ հարցում չկա», - ասել է Անվտանգության խորհրդի ներկայացուցիչը` մեկնաբանելով Թուրքիայի վարչապետ Բինալի Յըլդըրըմի խոսքն այն մասին, որ Դոնալդ Թրամփի վարչակազմը դրական է մոտենում Գյուլենի արտահանձնման հարցին:

Հիշեցնենք, որ 2016-ի հուլիսի 15-ին Թուրքիայի Զինուժի մի խումբ զինվորականներ, այդ թվում` ժանդարմերիայի աշխատակիցներ, ռազմական հեղաշրջման փորձ էին իրականացրել, որը սակայն մի քանի ժամում ճնշվել էր:
