Արցախի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանը շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Հայրենիքի պաշտպանի օրվա առթիվ: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին Արցախի Հանրապետության նախագահի աշխատակազմի տեղեկատվության գլխավոր վարչությունից, ուղերձում ասվում է.
«Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,
Արցախի Հանրապետության իշխանությունների եւ անձամբ իմ անունից ի սրտե շնորհավորում եմ ձեզ Հայրենիքի պաշտպանի օրվա առթիվ:
Շնորհավորում եմ մեր քաջ զինվորներին, սպաներին, գեներալներին, ովքեր իրենց ամենօրյա անձնվեր ծառայությամբ պաշտպանում են մեր երկրի ու ժողովրդի անվտանգությունը, բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր օրհասական պահին կանգնում են սահմանը պահող զինվորի կողքին եւ իրենց անգնահատելի մասնակցությունը բերում հայրենիքի պաշտպանության գործին:
Այսօր տոն է մեր ողջ ժողովրդի համար, քանի որ, ինչպես բազմիցս ենք նշել, մեր երկիրը մենք պաշտպանում ենք բոլորս միասին՝ շինարարն ու բժիշկը, մանկավարժն ու բարերարը, հեռավոր գյուղի բնակիչն ու սփյուռքահայ դպրոցականը: Ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմը կրկին ապացուցեց այդ անհերքելի ճշմարտությունը: Հայրենիքը երախտապարտ է իր նվիրյալներին:
