ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը կարծում Է, որ զանգվածային լրատվամիջոցներում իրեն վարկաբեկելուն միտված տեղեկատվության արտահոսքերի հետեւում կանգնած են ԱՄՆ-ի նախկին ղեկավար Բարաք Օբաման եւ նրա մարդիկ: Այս կարծիքը հանրապետականը հայտնել Է Fox News հեռուստաընկերությանը տված հարցազրույցում, որից հատվածներն ավելի վաղ հրապարակվել են:
 
«Ես կարծում եմ, որ (նախկին) նախագահ Օբաման Է կանգնած դրա հետեւում, որովհետեւ նրա մարդիկ են որոշակիորեն կանգնած դրա հետեւում»,- նշել Է Թրամփը: «Այդ արտահոսքերից մի քանիսը, հավանաբար, տարածվում են հենց այդ խմբի կողմից»- ասել Է նախագահը:    
 
Թրամփը հայտարարել Է, որ խոսում Է «շատ լուրջ արտահոսքերի» մասին, որոնք «շատ վատ» են ազդում ԱՄՆ-ի «ազգային անվտանգության վրա», սակայն կոնկրետ չի պարզաբանել, թե ԶԼՄ-ներում հայտնված հատկապես ինչ տեղեկատվություն ինքը նկատի ունի:    
 
Հարցազրույցում, որն ամբողջությամբ եթեր կտրվի ավելի ուշ՝ փետրվարի 28-ին, Սպիտակ տան ղեկավարը նաեւ հավելել Է, որ «ոչ ոք երբեք ստույգ չգիտի, թե ինչ Է տեղի ունենում» ամերիկյան քաղաքականության «կուլիսներում»: «Դու, հավանաբար, կարող ես իրավացի լինել ինչ-որ բանում, բայց երբեք հաստատ չես իմանա»,- նշել Է նա: «Բայց ես նաեւ հասկանում եմ, որ դա քաղաքականություն Է,- ասել Է Թրամփը՝ խոսելով արտահոսքերի մասին:- Եվ դա, հավանաբար, կշարունակվի», հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
