Եվրամիությունից Մեծ Բրիտանիայի դուրս գալու կողմնակիցների թիվն առաջին անգամ գերազանցել Է նրանց թվաքանակը, ովքեր պաշտպանում են հանրակցության կազմում երկրի պահպանումը: Այդ մասին, հաղորդել Է Times թերթը, որի պատվերով YouGov սոցիոլոգիական ծառայությունը հարցում Է անցկացրել Միացյալ Թագավորության ավելի քան 11 հազար բնակիչների եւ առաջատար քաղաքական կուսա կցությունների 5 հազար անդամների շրջանում:
Հետազոտության տվյալների համաձայն՝ բրիտանացիների 40 տոկոսը ԵՄ-ին անդամակցությունը դադարեցնելու օգտին կքվեարկեր այն հանրաքվեում, որի անցկացումը խոստացել Է կառավարող Պահպանողական կուսակցությունը: Եվրոպական հանրակցության կազմում երկրի մնալու օգտին հանդես Է գալիս հարցման մասնակիցների 38 տոկոսը: 16 տոկոսը չի հստակեցրել իր դիրքորոշումը, եւս 6 տոկոսը կհրաժարվեր մասնակցել քվեարկությանը:
Նման արդյունքներն անակնկալ են դարձել, քանի որ դեռ հունիսին Լոնդոնի եւ Բրյուսելի միության կողմնակիցները 10 տոկոս առավելություն ունեին, սակայն Եվրոպայի միգրացիոն ճգնաժամը շատ բրիտանացիների ստիպեց փոխել իրենց կարծիքը:
«Այս տարի առաջին անգամ հարցման մասնակիցների մեծ մասը պաշտպանել Է ԵՄ-ի կազմից Մեծ Բրիտանիայի դուրս գալու գաղափարը: Սակայն մենք նաեւ պարզեցինք, որ մեծ խումբ են կազմում այն մարդիկ, ովքեր պատրաստ են հանդես գալ անդամակցությունը պահպանելու օգտին, եթե վարչապետ Դեւիդ Քեմերոնը Բրյուսելի հետ բանակցություններում կարողանա պաշտպանել Մեծ Բրիտանիայի շահերը»,-ասել Է YouGov-ի նախագահ Փիթեր Քելները:
ԵՄ-ին Մեծ Բրիտանիայի հետագա անդամակցության ճակատագրի շուրջ հանրաքվեն, ինչպես խոստանում Է Քեմերոնը, պետք Է անցկացվի մինչեւ 2017 թվականի վերջը, սակայն մի շարք տեղական ԶԼՄ-ներ այն կարծիքին են, որ քվեարկությունը, հնարավոր Է՝ կազմակերպվի արդեն հաջորդ տարի: Մեծ Բրիտանիայի վարչապետն ինքը հանդես Է գալիս հանրակցության կազմում երկրի մնալու օգտին: Նա խոստանում Է գործընկերների հետ բանակցություններում հասնել ԵՄ-ի բարեփոխումների եւ Մեծ Բրիտանիային վերադարձնել իշխանական լիազորությունների մի մասը: Այդուհանդերձ, մնացած երկրների չզիջելու դեպքում Քե մերոնը կարող Է պաշտպանել ԵՄ-ից թագավորության դուրս գալը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
