ԵԱՀԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարն անհրաժեշտ Է համարել վերանայել Եվրոպայում սովորական զինուժերի պայմանագիրը

ԵԱՀԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Լամբերտո Զանիերը ՏԱՍՍ-ին տված հարցազրույցում կարծիք Է հայտնել, որ Եվրոպայում սովորական զինված ուժերի մասին պայմանագիրը (ԵՍԶՈՒՊ) հնացել Է եւ վերանայման կարիք ունի, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
«Սպառազինությունների վերահսկողության գործիքներն արդեն այնքան Էլ լավ չեն գործում եւ վերանայման ու վերաիմաստավորման կարիք ունեն»,- ասել Է գործակալության զրուցակիցը: Նրա խոսքով՝ «ԵՍԶՈՒՊ-ը շատ պարամետրերով հնացել Է» եւ «պատշաճ կերպով չի գործում»: «Տեսնենք՝ կկարողաանք արդյոք ներկա պայմաններում նոր պայմանավորվածություններ մշակել սպառազինությունների վերահսկողության վերաբերյալ: Ես դրանում վստահ չեմ, շատ դժվար կլինի հասնել ինչ-որ բանի, որը կփոխարինի ԵՍԶՈՒՊ-ին»,- ասել Է Զանիերը:
Նա նշել Է, որ նախագահել Է ԵՍԶՈՒՊ-ի արդիականացման շուրջ բանակցությունները, բայց ադապտացված պայմանագիրը, որը 1999 թվականին ստորագրվել Էր Ստամբուլում, այդպես Էլ չվավերացվեց: Այժմ, կարծում եմ, շատ ավելի դժվար կլինի նման ինչ-որ բանի հասնել»,- հավելել Է ԵԱՀԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
