Ըստ ժամանակակից լեգենդի՝ ատամի մածուկի վրայի սև գիծը նշանակում են, որ ներսում միայն քիմիա է, իսկ կանաչը, որ բնական հումքից է պատրաստված։ Իրականում, գույնը կապված է դրանք պատրաստող մեքենաների հետ, որոնք այդպիսով նշում են իրենց արտադրանքը։
Ներքնազգեստի վրայի այս գրպանները ստեղծված են այն պարզ պատճառով, որպեսզի ներքնազգեստի կտորը չվնասի մաշկը։ Դրանք հատուկ փափուկ ու բամբակյա կտորից են պատրաստվում, իսկ քանի որ բոլոր կողմերից կարելու դեպքում դրանք կերևային, այդ պատճառով էլ մի կողմից կարված չեն։
Ուսապարկերի վրայի այդ երկու անցքն այն բանի համար են, որ զբոսաշրջիկները կարողանան դրանցից ինչ որ իրեր կախել ու ձեռքերն ազատ պահել։ Սակայն, կաշվե դետալներն արագ էին փչանում, այդ պատճառով էլ դրանք փոխարինեցին ավելի կոշտ նյութերից պատրաստված դետալներով։
