Քալիֆորնիայի սենատում ստեղծվել է Հայաստանի ու Ղարաբաղի հարցերով հանձնաժողով

Քալիֆորնիայի սենատի պետական հանձնաժողովը ստեղծել է Հայաստանի ու Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հարցերով հատուկ հանձնաժողով, որը զբաղվելու է առեւտրի, արվեստի ու մշակութային փոխանակության հարցերով։ Այս մասին հայտնում է Հայ դատի Ամերիկայի հանձնախումբը։

Հատուկ հանձնաժողովը ստեղծվել է սենատոր Էնթոնի Պորտանտինոյի պահանջով ու նպաստելու է գործնական հնարավորությունների ընդլայնմանը՝ Քալիֆորնիայի, Հայաստանի ու Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի միջեւ առեւտրի, տնտեսական զարգացման, մշակութային իրազեկման ու կրթության ոլորտներում։

«Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի արեւմտյան ռեգիոնի բաժանմունքը ողջունում է Քալիֆորնիայի սենատի այս կարեւոր նախաձեռնությունը, որը կապ կունենա ոչ միայն Հայաստանի, այլեւ Արցախի հետ»,- նշել է հանձնախմբի բաժանմունքի գործադիր տնօրեն Ելեն Ասատրյանը։

Նա նաեւ իր խորը երախտիքն է հայտնել սենատոր Պորտանտինոյին այն բանի համար, որ կարողացել է իրականացնել այդ նախաձեռնությունը՝ այդ պաշտոնում նշանակվելուց ընդամենը երեք ամիս հետո։

Պորտանտինոն ինքը նշել է, որ շատ հպարտ է, որ կարողացել է կյանքի կոչել հանձնաժողով ստեղծելու գաղափարը։ «Շատ բաներ կան, որ այդ երեք երկրները կարող են առաջարկել իրար ու ես վստահ եմ, որ Հայաստանն ու Արցախը ցնցող գործընկերներ կլինեն Քալիֆորնիայի համար՝ արդյունաբերության, մշակույթի ու արվեստի ոլորտներում»,- հավելել է նա։

Քալիֆորնիայում ապրում է մեծ հայկական համայնք ու զգալի մասը բիզնես ունի։ Այս հանձնաժողովը հսկայական հնարավորություններ է ստեղծում ԱՄՆ-ի, Հայաստանի ու Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի միջեւ առեւտրի ընդլայնման համար։Հատուկ հանձնաժողովը կկազմակերպի հանդիպումներ ամերիկահայերի հետ, որոնք բիզնես ունեն ու արդյունաբերության քալիֆորնիացի ղեկավարների հետ, որպեսզի զարգացնի ու ընդլայնի փոխադարձ տնտեսական օգուտի հնարավորությունները ։
