Ընկույզի պատիճը պարունակում է մի շարք օգտակար տարրեր, որոնք անհրաժեշտ են մարդու օրգանիզմին և սնուցում են արյունը: Պատիճն օգնում է մաքրել արյունատար անոթները՝ կանխարգելելով թրոմբոզի առաջացումը: Սակայն, բացի դա, ընկույզի պատիճն օգտակար է նաև այլ առողջական խնդիրների դեպքում: Հիպերտոնիա: 

Հիպերտոնիայի դեպքում ընկույզի պատիճը կարող է հրաշալի պրոֆիլակտիկ միջոց լինել: Իսկ նման թուրմ պատրաստելը բացարձակ դժվար չէ: 15 ընկույզների պատիճը լավ լվացեք և չորացրեք: Ապակե կամ էմալապատ տարայի մեջ լցրեք պատիճներն ու վրան մեկ շիշ օղի լցրեք, ամանի կափարիչը ծածկեք և դրեք չոր և տաք վայրում: Թողեք պատիճը թրմվի 2 շաբաթ, և թուրմը պատրաստ է: Այս թուրմը հարուստ է կումարինով, որը լցվելով արյուն՝ կարող է ներծծել և դուրս բերել թրոմբները: Այս թուրմը կարող է օգտագործվել բրոնխների բուժման գործում: Ընկույզի պատիճը՝ անքնության դեմ:

Ընկույզի պատիճի օգտակար հատկանիշները հայտնի են մի շարք հնագույն ազգերի: Օրինակ՝ կալմիկյան բժշկությունն օգտագործում է ընկույզի պատիճն անքնության, գլխապտույտի դեմ բուժիչ դեղամիջոցներ պատրաստելու համար: Այդ դեղամիջոցը ստանալու համար կալմիկներն ընկույզի պատիճը եփում են կաթում: Ընկույզի պատիճի մոխիրը: Հնում ընկույզի պատիճն այրում էին, իսկ ստացված մոխիրն օգտագործում խոցային հիվանդություններ բուժելու համար: Դրական արդյունք ստանալու համար մոխիրը խառնում էին գինու կամ բուսական յուղի հետ: Այս խառնուրդը քսում էին նաև մազերին, եթե նկատում էին, որ մազաթափություն է սկսվել:

Ընկույզի պատիճից կարելի է նաև մանրէազերծող միջոց պատրաստել: Հասարակ կաթսայի մեջ այրեք ընկույզի պատիճը, երբ ծուխ սկսի դուրս գալ, խառնեք պարունակությունը 15 րոպե: Ապա մոխիրը սառեցրեք և փոշիացրեք: Ստացված փոշին օգտագործվում է նաև ջուրը մանրէազերծելու, ինչպես նաև ստամոքսաղիքային տրակտից ռադիացիայի մնացորդները դուրս բերելու նպատակով: Այս նպատակով՝ 1-2 ճ/գ պատիճի մոխիրը լուծեք մեկ բաժակ ջրում, խմեք 15 րոպեն մեկ անգամ՝ 2 ճ/գ չափով:
