ԱՄՆ-ում պետք է ապահովվի հրեաների անվտանգությունը։ Այս մասին մարտի 5-ին հայտարարել է Իսրայելի նախագահ Ռեուվեն Ռիվլինը։ Իսրայել այցելած Նյու Յորքի նահանգապետ Էնդրյու Կուոմոյի հետ միասին նա այցելել է Երուսաղեմում Հոլոքոսթի զոհերի հուշահամալիր, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։
«Կա Հոլոքոսթի դասը։ Հրեաների անվտանգությունը պետք է ապահովվի, որտեղ էլ որ նրանք գտնվեն՝ մանավանդ ԱՄՆ-ում», ասել է Ռիվլինը։
Այս տարեսկզբից մինչև հիմա ԱՄՆ ավելի քան 30 նահանգներում գրանցվել է հրեական կազմակերպություններին ուղղված սպառնալիքների 100 ավելի դեպք ։
«Վերջերս հակասեմիտականության մութ, չար ու վատ ալիք է հարվածել ԱՄՆ-ին՝ Ալաբամա, Ֆլորիդա, Միչիգան, Փենսիլվանիա, Նյու Յորք ու Միսուրի՝ սրանք մի քանիսն են այն վայրերից, որտեղ բարձրացել է ատելության ու բռնության ալիք, հենց միայն անցած գիշեր ևս մեկ հարձակում է եղել Բրուքլինում հրեական գերեզմանոցի վրա»,- ասել է Ռիվլինը։
Միաժամանակ նա նշել է, որ Կուոմոյի այցը Իսրայել «հենց այս պահին՝ չափազանց կարևոր ազդանշան է այն մասին, որ ամերիկյան ժողովուրդն ու կառավարությունը թույլ չեն տա, որ հակասեմիտականությունը հաղթանակի»։
