Թբիլիսին խնդրել է պարզաբանել Վրաստանում, Եգիպտոսում ու Բալկանյան երկրներում փախստականների ընդունելության կենտրոններ բացելու առաջարկը, որով հանդես էր եկել Ավստրիան։ Այս մասին մարտի 5-ին հայտնել է Ավստրիայում Վրաստանի դեսպան Կոնստանտին Զալդաստանիշվիլին, փոխանցում է «Սպուտնիկ Վրաստանը»
«Այս հարցը վրացական կողմի հետ չի քննարկվել պաշտոնական որեւէ հանդիպման ժամանակ։ Այդ թվում այս հարցը օրակարգում չի եղել Կուրցի՝ Վրաստան կատարած այցի ժամանակ, մեկ ամիս առաջ»,- ասել է դեսպանը։
Նա հավելել է, որ հաջորդ շաբաթվանից սկսվելու են խորհրդակցություններ ավստրիական կողմի հետ, որոնց ընթացքում պարզ կդառնա, թե ինչի մասին է խոսքը։
«Մենք այսօր էլ ենք փորձել կապվել կառավարության հետ, չնայած կիրակի է ու դժվար թե դա մեզ հաջողվեր։ Վաղն առավոտյան մենք անպայման կապ կհաստատենք Ավստրիայի ԱԳՆ-ի հետ ու կփորձենք պարզաբանել այս հարցը»,- հավելել է դեսպանը։
Ավելի վաղ Ավստրիայի ԱԳ նախարար Սեբաստիան Կուրցը հայտնել էր, որ «անհրաժեշտ է փախստականների ընդունելության կենտրոններ բացել ԵՄ տարածքից դուրս՝ օրինակ Եգիպտոսում, Վրաստանում կամ Արեւմտյան Բալկանների երկրներից մեկում»։
