Կիբերհանցագործություններից համաշխարհային վնասները հավասար են 12 հազար Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանների տարեկան հոնորարին։ Նման ուշագրավ համեմատություն է արել Եվգենի Կասպերսկին Երեւանում անցկացված «Թվային աշխարհի սպառնալիքները» դասընթացի ժամանակ։ Հիշեցնենք, որ Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը, որը անցած ամառ գերմանական «Բորուսիայից» տեղափոխվել է անգլիական «Մանչեսթեր Յունայթիդ» հետխորհրդային տարածքի ամենաբարձր վճարվող ֆուտբոլիստն է ու ստանում է տարեկան 42 մլն դոլար։
Երկու անկախ գործակալությունների գնահատականով, կիբերհարձակումների հետեւանքով համաշխարհային տնտեսությունը տարեկան կրում է 400-500 մլրդ դոլարի վնաս, ինչը 50 անգամ գերազանցում է Հայաստանի ՀՆԱ-ն։ Դա պայմանավորված է ունիկալ վնասակար վիրուսների ստեղծման անհավանական արագ տեմպերով։ Համեմատության համար ասենք, որ 1986-ից սկսած համացանցում առաջին մեկ միլիոն վնասատու օբյեկտները գտնելու ու վնասազերծելու համար Կասպերսկու լաբորատորիայից 20 տարի է պահանջվել, իսկ հիմա մեկ շաբաթում են ավելի քան երկու միլիոն նման օբյեկտ որսում։
Կասպերսկու խոսքով, օրական համացանցում հայտնվում է մոտ 310 հազար տարատեսակ վիրուս, հանգստյան օրերին՝ ավելի քիչ։ Համաանցի բոլոր օգտատերերի ավելի քան 60 տոկոսի դիվայսները թեկուզ մեկ անգամ ենթարկվել են որեւէ վնասակար օբյեկտով հարձակման։ Օպերացիոն համակարգերի շրջանում առաջատար է մնում Microsoft–ը, որին բաժին է հասնում մոտ 448 մլն վիրուս՝ կարելի է ասել փոքր դատակենտրոն։ Երկրորդ տեղում Android–ն է 22 մլն, երիտասարդ խաբեբաները սկսել են ավելի շատ գրոհել այդ համակարգին, քանի որ օնլայն վճարումները սահուն փոխանցում են համակարգչից հեռախոս ու նոր դաշտ բացում գործունեության համար։
Այնուհետեւ ցանկում Mac OS (40000)-ն է, Linux-ը (30000) ու iOS –ը (600) ։ Mac OS-ի ու iOS -ի ցածր ցուցանիշը պայմանավորված է այդ համակարգերի բարդությամբ, բայց սողանքներ միշտ էլ գտնվում են։ Դե իսկ Linux-ը երիտասարդների ու ուսանողների կողմից է գործածվում, նրանցից ինչ գողանաս։ Հերթը համացանցին միացված զանազան կենցաղային սարքերինն է։ Կասպերսկին նախազգուշացնում է, որ այդ սարքերի համար ստեղծված վիուսների աճի տեմպերը շուտով կարող են գերազանցել մյուսները։
