Ուկրաինայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Պավել Կլիմկինը հանդիպում Է անցկացրել ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղար Ռեքս Թիլերսոնի հետ: Ինչպես հաղորդվում Է Ուկրաինայի ԱԳ նախարարության կայքում, Թիլերսոնը նշել Է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն այսուհետեւ Էլ աջակցելու Է Ուկրաինային, իսկ Վաշինգտոնի կողմից Ռուսաստանի դեմ սահմանված պատժամիջոցները ուժի մեջ կմնան մինչեւ Մինսկի համաձայնությունների ամբողջական կատարումը, «ագրեսիայի դադարեցումը եւ Դոնբասի ու Ղրիմի ապաօկուպացումը»:&nb sp;Ինչպես նշվում Է, Կլիմկինը շնորհակալություն Է հայտնել «ՌԴ-ի ագրեսիայի դեմ Ուկրաինայի պայքարում» ԱՄՆ-ի դրսեւորած համերաշխության համար:
«Հետեւողական գործնական աջակցությունը, որը ցուցաբերում Է Միացյալ Նահանգները, Ուկրաինային թույլ Է տվել Էական առաջընթացի հասնել համալիր սոցիալ-տնտեսական վերափոխումների անցկացման եւ անվտանգության ու պաշտպանության սեկտորի բարենորոգման գործում»,- ասված Է հաղորդագրության մեջ: Նաեւ զրուցակիցները պայմանավորվել են շարունակել Ուկրաինայի եւ ԱՄՆի նախագահներ Պյոտր Պորոշենկոյի եւ Դոնալդ Թրամփի հանդիպման նախապատրաստման աշխատանքը:
