 Ռուսաստանն ԱՄՆ-ին առաջարկում Է համակարգել ջանքերը ահաբեկչության դեմ մղվող պայքարում: Մոսկվան հուսով Է, որ Վաշինգտոնն ըմբռնեց իր դիրքորոշումը: Այս մասին,  հայտարարել Է ՌԴ-ի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը RT հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցի ժամանակ:

«Ռուսաստանը Սիրիային օգնում Է պայքարելու «Իսլամական պետության» դեմ: Մենք բացատրել ենք մեր դիրքորոշումը, մենք չենք ցանկանում որեւիցե կապվածություն ունենալ որեւԷ տարածաշրջանի հետ,- ասել Է նա:- Բայց մենք հասատ համոզմունք ունենք, չենք կարող թույլ տալ, որ Սիրիան որպես պետություն կործանվի»:     

«Մենք ԱՄՆ-ին առաջարկեցինք ներդաշնակեցնել մեր ջանքերը, որպեսզի համոզված լինենք, որ ահաբեկիչների դիրքերին ավիահարվածները համակարգված լինեն «ցամաքի վրա» կատարված քայլերի հետ»,- շարունակել Է նախարարը: «Հուսով եմ, որ Բարաք Օբաման անսաց Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի խոսքը»,- հավելել Է ՌԴ-ի ԱԳ նախարարության ղեկավարը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
