ՀԴԲ տնօրեն Ջեյմս Կոմին Ռուսաստանն անվանել է այն երկրներից մեկը, որոնք սպառնալիք են ներկայացնում ԱՄՆ-ի համար։ Այս մասին նա հայտնել է Բոսթոնյան քոլեջում կիբերանվտանգության հարցերով ամենամյա համաժողովում իր ելույթի ժամանակ։

«Առկա սպառնալիքները ես սովորաբար նկարագրում եմ որպես չարաբաստիկ շերտավոր կարկանդակ,- պարզաբանել է Ջեյմս Կոմին,- Ամենավերեւի շերտը Չինաստանի, Ռուսաստանի, Իրանի, Հյուսիսային Կորեայի նման պետություններն են։ Հաջորդ շերտը կիբերհանցագործների միջազգային սինդիկատներն են, որոնք զբաղվում են տեղեկություններ, գումար ու տեխնոլոգիաներ առեւանգելով, հաճախ պետությունների ու կառավարությունների պատվերով»։

Հենց դրա համար էլ Կոմիի խոսքով, այսօր ՀԴԲ-ն հատուկ ուշադրություն է դարձնում կիբերանվտանգության հարցերին, ձգտելով հավասարակշռել քաղաքացիների մասնավոր կյանքի ու պետության շահերի պաշտպանությունը ։ «Մեզնից յուրաքանչյուրը հակված է համարել, որ իր տունը, մեքենան ու հեռախոսը, համակարգիչը պաշտպանված են արտաքին ներխուժումից,- ասել է Ջեյմս Կոմին,- Բայց իրավապահ մարմինները իրավունք ունեն դատարանի որոշումով խախտել այդ կանոնը, որոշ դեպքերում էլ դատավորը կարող է մեզ ստիպել, որ պատմենք մեր մասնավոր կյանքի մանրամասները» ։

«Ամերիկայում չկա այնպիսի հասկացություն, ինչպիսին է մասնավոր կյանքի բացարձակ անձեռնմխելիությունը,- ասել է Ջեյմս Կոմին,- Չկա այնպիսի ոլորտ, որտեղ չի կարող հասնել օրենքը»։
