ԵԱՀԿ ԽՎ-ն մարդու իրավունքների հանձնաժողովի նախագահը կոչ է անում Ադրբեջանին ազատ արձակել Մեհման Հուսեյնովին

Իսպանիայի խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր, ԵԱՀԿ Խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի մարդու իրավունքների հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Իգնացիո Սանչես Ամորը կոչ է արել ազատ արձակել ադրբեջանցի լրագրող Մեհման Հուսեյնովին, ով անցյալ շաբաթ Բաքվի դատարանի կողմից դատապարտվել էր երկու տարվա ազատազրկման՝ Նասիմի շրջան ոստիկանության պետին վարկաբեկելու մեղադրանքով:
«Խորապես մտահոգիչ է, որ Մեհման Հուսեյնովի դատավճիռը հիմնված է այն փաստի վրա, որ նա դժգոհել է հունվարին ոստիկանության կողմից իր նկատմամբ ցուցաբերված վերաբերմունքից: Նրա հայտարարած բռնի վերաբերմունքը, այնուհետև հետապնդումն ու ձերբակալումը Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունների նկատմամբ քննադատական ձայնը ստիպողաբար լռեցնելու կոպիտ փորձ է: Ես կոչ եմ անում անհապաղ նրան ազատ արձակել»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ասել է Սանչես Ամորը:
Նա նաև ընդգծել է, որ Հուսեյնովն այն բանտարկված բազմաթիվ լրագրողներից և ակտիվիստներից մեկն է, ով մեղադրվել է Ադրբեջանում քաղաքական դրդապատճառներից ելնելով: «Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունները պետք է հարգեն քաղաքացիների արտահայտվելու իրավունքը և անհրաժեշտության դեպքում նաև բողոքները»,- ասել է նա:
Սանչես Ամորն արդեն մեկ անգամ գրել էր ադրբեջանական խորհրդարանի իր գործընկերներին՝ մտահոգություն հայտնելով Հուսեյնովի հանդեպ վատ վերաբերմունքի համար: Նա ևս մեկ նամակ է ուղարկել՝ իր մտահոգությունը հայտնելով բլոգերի ձերբակալության և դատավճռի վերաբերյալ և ընդգծել է հանրային կարծիքի ազատությանն ուղղված իշխանությունների պարտականությունները:
Հուսեյնովը հայտնի բլոգեր է, Ադրբեջանում Լրագրողների ազատության եւ անվտանգության ինստիտուտի ներկայացուցիչ: Նա մարտի 3-ին մեղավոր է ճանաչվել զրպարտության մեջ, այն բանի համար, որ հրապարակավ բողոքել է 2017 թ. հունվարի 9-ին ձերբակալման ժամանակ ոստիկանության կողմից իրականացված դաժան վերաբերմունքի մասին: Կալանվելուց հետո Հուսեյնովը հայտարարել է, որ ենթարկվել է խոշտանգումների, իսկ ոստիկանության պետը նրա հայտարարության հիման վրա հայց ր ներկայացրել, որի արդյունքում էլ ներկայացվել էր մեղադրանքը:
