ՄԻՊ-ը Ժնևում ներկայացրել է երեխայի իրավունքների պաշտպանություն ոլորտում տարվող աշխատանքները

 Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանն այսօր Ժնեւում հրավիրված ՄԱԿ-ի՝ կայուն զարգացման գլոբալ նպատակների իրականացմանը նվիրված բարձրաստիճան քննարկմանը հանդես է եկել հատուկ ելույթով: Պաշտպանը քննարկման մասնակիցներին, այդ թվում՝ ՄԱԿ-ի Մարդու իրավունքների գերագույն հանձնակատարին, ՄԱԿ-ի Մանկական հիմնադրամի բարձրաստիճան ներկայացուցիչներին, այլ երկրների օմբուդսմաններին ու միջազգային փորձագետներին է ներկայացրեÕ ¬ Հայաստանում երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանության ոլորտում կատարվող աշխատանքը: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմից: 

Պաշտպանը ներկայացրել է նաեւ 2017 թվականի մարտի 1-ից ուժի մեջ մտած օրենսդրական փոփոխությունները, որոնցով Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանին է վերապահվել «Երեխաների իրավունքների մասին» ՄԱԿ-ի կոնվենցիայի դրույթների իրականացման մշտադիտարկման գործառույթը: Հատուկ  խոսվել է այն մասին, որ առանձին հոդվածով նախատեսվել է անարգել այցերի հնարավորություն երեխաների խնամք եւ պաշտպանություն իրականացնող, ինչպես նաեւ հանրակրթական ուսումնական հաստատություններ: 

Արման Թաթոյանը նաեւ ներկայացրել է տարածաշրջանային ու երկրի մակարդակով երեխաների իրավունքների երաշխավորման ոլորտում առկա մարտահրավերներն ու դրանց հաղթահարման ուղիները: Կարեւորվել է բոլոր այս հարցերում համատեղ աշխատանքը քաղաքացիական հասարակության կազմակերպությունների ու լրագրողների հետ: 

Քննարկման մասնակիցները բարձր են գնահատել ոչ միայն Մարդու իրավունքերի պաշտպանի գործունեության ոլորտում տեղի ունեցած փոփոխությունները, այլեւ կարեւորել են Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի՝ այդ երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանության հարցում իրականացրած գործունեությունը: Մասնակից տարբեր երկրների ներկայացուցիչները ցանկություն են հայտնել ուսումնասիրելու հայաստանյան փորձը՝ սեփական երկրներում ներդնելու համար:
