Վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը սեպտեմբերի 29-ին ընդունել է Ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեների ասոցիացիայի նախագահ շեյխ Ահմադ Ալ-Ֆահադ Ալ-Սաբահին և Եվրոպայի օլիմպիական կոմիտեի նախագահ Պատրիկ Հիկեին: Հանդիպմանը ներկա է եղել Հայաստանի ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեի նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը:
Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ողջունելով հյուրերին՝ կառավարության ղեկավարը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել մեր երկիր ժամանելու և Հայաստանի ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեի (ՀԱՕԿ) հիմնադրման 25-ամյակին նվիրված հոբելյանական միջոցառումներին մասնակցելու համար: Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը կարևորել է Ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեների ասոցիացիայի և Եվրոպայի օլիմպիական կոմիտեի հետ ՀԱՕԿ համագործակցությունը և համոզմունք հայտնել, որ այն այսուհետ ևս կշարո ւնակի դինամիկ զարգանալ:
Վարչապետը բարձր է գնահատել ՀԱՕԿ նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի հսկայական ներդրումը վերջին տարիներին մեր երկրում սպորտի զարգացման գործում, ում գլխավորությամբ ՀԱՕԿ-ը լուրջ ձեռքբերումներ է ապահովել սպորտի բնագավառում և այսօր վայելում է միջազգային օլիմպիական հանրության հարգանքն ու վստահությունը: Ընդգծելով, որ կառավարությունը մշտապես ուշադրության կենտրոնում է պահում սպորտի զարգացումը և առողջ ապրելակերպի խթանումը՝ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը նշել է, որ մինչ օրս Հայաստանն ունեցել է 13 օլիմպիական չեմպիոն, և ոլորտում էլ ավելի մեծ առաջընթաց արձանագր ելու նպատակով գործադիրը շարունակելու է ակտիվ և արդյունավետ համագործակցությունը ՀԱՕԿ-ի, ինչպես նաև միջազգային օլիմպիական կառույցների հետ:
Ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեների ասոցիացիայի և Եվրոպայի օլիմպիական կոմիտեի նախագահները շնորհակալություն են հայտնել վարչապետին ջերմ ընդունելության համար և նշել, որ ուրախ են գտնվել Հայաստանում ու մասնակցել Երևանում կառուցված օլիմպիական ավանի բացման արարողությանը: Հյուրերը բարձր և արդյունավետ են գնահատել Հայաստանում սպորտի զարգացմանն ուղղված պետական քաղաքականությունը և ՀԱՕԿ հետ համագործակցությունը: Ահմադ Ալ-Ֆահադ Ալ-Սաբահին և Պատրիկ Հիկեն ողջունել են ՀՀ իշխանությունների և ինչպես ազգային, այնպես էլ միջազգային օլիմպիական շարժման մի ջև առկա դրական համագործակցությունը և պատրաստակամություն հայտնել շարունակել արդյունավետ համատեղ աշխատանքը:
Հանդիպման ավարտին Եվրոպայի օլիմպիական կոմիտեի նախագահ Պատրիկ Հիկեն վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանին նվիրել է Եվրոպայի օլիմպիական կոմիտեն խորհրդանշող հուշանվեր:
