ՄԱԿ-ի խաղաղապահությանը նվիրված գագաթնաժողովում ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը փաստում է, որ միջազգային անվտանգության ապահովումը բոլոր մեծ և փոքր պետությունների խնդիրն է, իսկ Հայաստանը կարող է դառնալ նման մասնակցության լավագույն օրինակ: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց ԱԺ ՀՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Խոսրով Հարությունյանը՝ անդրադառնալով ՄԱԿ-ի խաղաղապահությանը նվիրված գագաթնաժողովում ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի ելույթին:

«Ըստ էության, սկսելով խաղաղապահ առաքելությունը Կոսովոյից, այնուհետև միջազգային կառույցների հետ համագործակցությունն ընդլայնելու եղանակով Իրաքում, Աֆղանստանում, Լիբանանում, Մալիում խաղաղապահ առաքելության իրականացումը խոսում է այն մասին, որ միջազգային հանրությունը խաղաղապահության գործում Հայաստանն ընկալում է որպես կայուն ու վստահելի գործընկեր: Ընդ որում, ոչ թե գործընկեր, որը կարող է այդ ընթացքում փորձառություն ձեռք բերել, այլ գործընկեր, որն արդեն պատրաստ է իր կուտակած փորձն օգտագործել այլոց սովորեցնելու ու վարժեցնելու համար, որի համատեքստում էլ հանրապետության նախագահը խոսում է առաջիկա անելիքների մասին՝ ընդգծելով, որ Հայաստանը ստանձնել է դաշտային հոսպիտալների կազմակերպման աշխատանքների փորձառության ապահովման պարտավորությունը»,-  ընդգծեց պատգամավորը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ սա խոսում է այն մասին, որ միջազգային հանրությունը գնահատում է Հայաստանի դերը և պատասխանատու մասնակցությունը միջազգային խաղաղապահության գործընթացում: Պատգամավորը պատահական չի համարում, որ խաղաղապահության խնդրին վերաբերող գագաթնաժողովին ոչ միայն հրավիրված է, այլ նաև ելույթ է ունենում ՀՀ նախագահը: «Ես կարծում եմ, որ սա մեր արտաքին քաղաքականության կարևորագույն ուղղություններից է, որը բարձրացնում է Հայաստանի միջազգային հեղինակությունը, ինչի արդյունքում մեր երկիրը ձեռք է բերում հուսալի գործընկերոջ համբավ»,- եզրափակե ց պատգամավորը:

ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 70-րդ նստաշրջանին մասնակցելու նպատակով Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգներում գտնվող Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը սեպտեմբերի 28-ին Նյու Յորքում մասնակցել է ՄԱԿ-ի խաղաղապահությանը նվիրված գագաթնաժողովին, որտեղ հանդես է եկել ելույթով:
