Գունատ շուրթերը կարող են երկաթի պակասի ցուցիչ լինել։ Արյան ցածր ճնշումը և հաճախակի մրսածությունը նույնպես երկաթի պակասի հետևանքներ են, սակայն երկաթի ցանկալի ծավալը լրացնելը բարդ չէ։ Պետք է պարզապես ավելի շատ կարմիր միս ուտել և ժամանակավորապես հրաժարվել կալցիումի բարձր պարունակությամբ մթերքներից։
Արնահոսող լնդեր
Արնահոսող լնդերը կարող են C վիտամինի պակասի ցուցիչ լինել։ Այս վիտամինի պակասը նաև կարող է հանգեցնել թույլ իմունային համակարգի, մկանային ցավերի և ատամների հետ խնդիրների։ Վիտամին C կարելի է գտնել ցիտրուսային մրգերում և կարմիր պղպեղում։
