Հոկտեմբերի 13-ին նշվում է «Առանց կրծկալի միջազգային օրը», որը ստեղծվել է կրծքի քաղցկեղի մասին մարդկանց իրազեկվածությունը բարձրացնելու համար։
Մինչ որոշ կանայք չեն պատկերացնում իրենց կյանքն առանց կրծկալի, մյուսները փորձում են հնարավորինս խուսափել կրծկալներից։
Վերջերս գիտնականները ցնցող բացահայտում են կատարել, որն իմանալուց հետո արդեն իսկ պետք է մի քանի անգամ մտածել՝ պետք է արդյոք կրծկալ կրել, թե ոչ։
Ըստ հետազոտության, կրծկալները ոչ միայն ոչ մի օգուտ չեն տալիս, այլև բացասական ազդեցություն են ունենում առողջության վրա։
Հետազոտության հեղինակ Ժան—Դենիս Ռույոնը 15 տարի շարունակ կատարել է այս հետազոտությունը՝ ուսումնասիրելով 18-ից 35 տարեկան կանանց։
Արդյունքները ցույց են տվել, որ կրծկալ կրելն ամենևին էլ չի օգնում կրծքերի ամրությանն ու պիրկ լինելուն, այլ ընդհակառակը։ Ռույոնը բացահայտել է, որ այն կանայք, ովքեր չեն կրել կրծկալ, նրանց մոտ տեղի է ունեցել կրծքերի 7մմ բարձրացում, մինչդեռ կրծկալ կրողների մոտ արձանագրվել է արյան վատ շրջանառություն և ժամանակի ընթացքում կրծքերի փոքրացում։
Մեկ այլ բժշկական փորձագետ բացահայտել է, որ կրծկալ չկրելը խթանում է կոլագենի արտադրությունը և մեծացնում է մաշկի առաձգականությունը։
Այնպես որ, գեղեցիկ կուծք ունենալու համար այնքան էլ պարտադիր չէ կրծկալ կրել։
