Հայկական հեռուստաեթերը բազմիցս քննարկվել և քննադատվել է: Այն, ինչ այսօր մեզ հրամցնում են եթերով մեծամասամբ ակնհայտ անբովանդակ և վատ պատրաստված «արտադրանք է», որի շուրջ առավել գիտակից հասարակության ներկայացուցիչները մերթընդմերթ դժգոհության ալիք են բարձրացնում և իսկ որոշ ժամանակ անց` մոռացության մատնում: Շարքային հեռուստադիտողին ստեղծված իրավիճակը բացատրում են առկա պահանջարկով, ասել թե` ինչ նախընտրում ենք, այն էլ ցուցադրում ենք: Կարճ ասած` ցածրորակ եթերի պատասխանատուն հենց մենք ենք` հասարակությունը, որը լուռումունջ «կուլ է տալիս» այն ամենն ինչ ցուցադրում են:
Ժամանցային հաղորդման շողքի տակ եթեր է հեռարձակվում ցանկացած տիպի անորակ շոու կամ սերիալ, որը ոչ ուրույն միտք, ոչ ջանք, ոչ էլ բյուջե է պահանջում: Երբ հասարակությունն ուշի-ուշով հետևում էր միջակ, կլիշեներով լի և տեղ-տեղ անգամ գռեհիկ հայկական սերիալների հերոսների կյանքին, մեզ թվում էր թե դա ընդամենը սկիզբն է և հետագայում մեր եթերը գնալու է դեպի կատարելագործում, մենք կարողանալու ենք նկարահանել իրապես որակյալ հաղորդումներ, ֆիլմեր, ինչու չէ` նաև սերիալներ: Չէ որ եթերը պետք է բաղկացած լինի ոչ միայն ժամանցային ծրագրերից, այլ նաև` կրթական, զարգացնող և դաստիրակչական, որքան էլ սովետական այն չհնչի:
Պարզվեց` շարժվեցինք լրիվ հակառակ ուղղությամբ և հայկական սերալներին փոխարինելու եկան հնդկականները: Այնպես որ որևէ լուրջ փոփոխություն նոր եթերաշրջանի մեկնարկից չէի ակնկալում, մինչ համացանցում նկատեցի «Չարենց. մի ճրագ մթում» ֆիլմի անոնսը: Ֆիլմը նվիրված էր Եղիշե Չարենցի ծննդյան 120-ամյա հոբելյանին և ցուցադրվելու էր Առաջին ալիքով: Դիտեցի մեծ հաճույքով և ոգևորությամբ: Նկարահանված էր նոր, հետաքրքիր մոտեցմամբ` դոկումենտալի և գեղարվեստականի համադրությամբ:
Զգացվում էր, որ ֆիլմում ձգտել էին պատկերել իրական Չարենցին` նրա հակասություններով լի կյանքը, մտորումներն ու պայքարը: Անդրադարձ էր կատարվել ոչ միայն Չարենցի կյանքի առավել հայտնի էջերին, այլև` ներկայացվել էին փաստեր, որոնք համեմատաբար առավել քիչ քննարկված են։Ուրախալի էր, որ ֆիլմը նեղ մասնագիտական չէր, որն ուղղված կլիներ միայն գրականագետներին, այլ նախատեսված էր հասարակության լայն շերտերի համար: Հուսանք` հաղորդաշարը կլինի շարունակական և Առաջին ալիքն ըստ արժանվույն կանդրադառնա մեր բոլոր մեծերին: Չէ որ նաև նման ֆիլմերի միջոցով ենք բացահայտում և ճանաչում մեր մեծերին, ձգտում իմանալ ավելին և մեկ անգամ ևս վերընթերցել նրանց անգնահատելի ժառանգությունը…
