1. Գաղտնիության ապահովում։ Սոցիալական ցանցի վերևի հատվածում գտեք փականի տեսքով կոճակը, սեղմեք այն, մտեք «Դիտել մյուս կարգավորումները» բաժինը։
2. «Գաղտնիության կարգավորումներ և գործիքներ» հատվածում «Ով կարող է տեսնել ձեր հրապարակումներն ապագայում» հատվածում ընտրեք «միայն ես» տարբերակը։
3. Կարող եք թաքցնել այն տեղեկությունը, որը հրապարակել եք նախկինում։ «Սահմանափակեք մուտքը նախորդ հրապարակումների համար» հատվածում հաստատեք ձեր գործողությունները և կփակեք նախկինում հրապարակված տեղեկատվությունը։
4. Կարող եք կարգավորել նաև, թե ով կարող է ձեզ ընկերության առաջարկ անել։ «Ով կարող է ձեզ ընկերության առաջարկ ուղակել» հատվածում կարող եք ընտրել «ընկերների ընկերները» կոճակը։
5. Եթե որևէ պատճառով չեք ցանկանում, որ օգտատերերը գտնեն ձեզ էլեկտրոնային փոստի միջոցով, «Ով կարող է ձեզ գտնել ձեր մատնանշած էլեկտրոնային փոստի հասցեով» հատվածում ընտրեք «ընկերներ» կոճակը։ Այս ալգորիթմը կարելի է օգտագործել նաև «Ով կարող է ձեզ գտնել ձեր մատնանշած բջջային հեռախոսահամարով» կետի համար։
6. Ձեզ դուրս չի՞ գալիս, որ ձեր հաշիվը հայտնվում է ամենահայտնի որոնողական համակարգերում։ «Որոնողական համակարգերին թույլ տալ հղում տալ ձեր էջին» հատվածից հանեք կոճակը։
7. Որպեսզի հանկարծ չհայտնվեք այլ անձանց էջերում, «Նշումներ» հատվածում ընտրեք «Միայն ես» հատվածը։ Իսկ «Ով է տեսնում նշումների խորհուրդները, երբ ներբեռնվում են անձանց լուսանկարներ, որոնք ձեզ նման են» հատվածում ընտրեք «Ոչ ոք»։
8. Կարգավորումների միջոցով կարող եք մինչև ձեզ նշելը դրա համար թույլտվություն տալ։ Դրա համար անհրաժեշտ է միացնել «Մինչև հրապարակելը հաստատել նշումները, որոնք արվել են ընկերների կողմից» և «Մինչև facebook-ում հրապարակելը հաստատել նշումները, որոնք մյուս օգտատերերն անում են ձեր հրապարակումներում» կոճակները։
9. Ձեր հրապարակումները կարող եք հասանելի դարձնել միայն ընկերների համար։ «Հետևորդներ» հատվածում ընտրեք ընկերներ հատվածը, որպեսզի ձեր հրապարակումները տեսնեն միայն ընկերները։
10. Հին նշումները, որոնք արվել են facebook-ի հին բջջային տարբերակների միջոցով, կարելի է թաքցնել «Հին տարբերակներ բջջայինների համար» հատվածում՝ ընտրելով «Միայն ես» տարբերակը։
