Ճապոնիայում մարտի 17-ին երկրի պատմության մեջ առաջին անգամ տեղի են ունեցել քաղաքացիական պաշտպանության վարժանքներ ի դեպս ԿԺԴՀ-ի կողմից հրթիռային գրոհի: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը՝ վկայակոչելով Ակիտայի պրեֆեկտուրայի վարչակազմի պաշտոնական հաղորդագրությունը:
Միջոցառման նպատակը բնակչության տարահանման փորձարկումն Է ժամանակի կրիտիկական պակասի պայմաններում:
Ըստ սցենարի՝ Ճապոնիայի զինված ուժերը պայմանական հակառակորդի բալիստիկ հրթիռների արձակում են գրանցել երկրի գլխավոր կղզու՝ Հոնսյուի հյուսիսում գտվնող Ակիտայի պրեֆեկտուրայի Օգա հրվանդանի ուղղությամբ: Վարժանքների ընթացքում տարահանման վերաբերյալ հաղորդումները տրվել են բարձրախոսներով, ինչպես նաեւ ուղարկվել են բնակիչների սմարթֆոններին: Վարժանքին մասնակցողներն օպերատիվորեն հեռացել են իրենց տներից եւ պատսպարվել մունիցիպալ շենքերի եւ դպրոցների նկուղներում:
2017 թվականի մարտի 6-ին ԿԺԴՀ-ն միջին հեռահարության միանգամից չորս բալիստիկ հրթիռներ Է արձակել Ճապոնիայի հյուսիսի ուղղությամբ, դրանցից երեքն ընկել են Ճապոնիայի բացառիկ տնտեսական գոտու սահմաններում: Առավել մոտիկ հրթիռներից մեկն ընկել Էր երկրի ափից 200 կիլոմետր հեռավորության վրա:
