Ճապոնիան այս տարի 810 միլիոն դոլար կտրամադրի Սիրիայից եւ Իրաքից փախստականներին օգնելու համար: Այս մասին, հայտարարել Է Ճապոնիայի վարչապետ Սինձո Աբեն ՝ Նյու Յորքում ելույթ ունենալով ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի ամբիոնից:
«Մենք այսուհետեւ Էլ օգնություն ցույց կտանք Սիրիայից եւ Իրաքից ժամանած գաղթականներին: Այս տարի մենք կտրամադրենք մոտավորապես 810 միլիոն դոլարի օգնություն՝ եռակի ավելի, քան անցյալ տարի»,- ասել Է նա: Այդ միջոցներից, նրա խոսքով՝ 2 միլիոն դոլարը կհատկացվի Լիբանանին ցույց տրվող օգնությանը, իսկ 2,5 միլիոն դոլարն այն երկրներին, որոնք հարկադրված են ընդունելու գաղթականների զգալի մասին՝ Սերբիային եւ Մակեդոնիային, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
