ԱՄՆ-ում 2001-ի սեպտեմբերի 11-ի ահաբեկչությունից զոհվածների հարազատները դատի են տվել Սաուդյան Արաբիային

ԱՄՆ-ում 2001 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 11-ին կատարված ահաբեկչական գործողությունների հետեւանքով զոհվածների հարազատները դատի են տվել Սաուդյան Արաբիային՝ թագավորության իշխանություններին մեղադրելով «Ալ Քաիդա» ահաբեկչական ցանցին աջակցելու մեջ: Ավելի քան 800 մարդու անունից կոլեկտիվ հայցը մարտի 20-ին ներկայացվել Է Նյու Յորքի Մանհեթենի շրջանի համերկրային դատարան, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
Ինչպես պնդում են հայցվորները, որոնց թվում կան նաեւ այդ գրոհներից տուժածներ, Էր Ռիադը ֆինանսական ու նյութական այլ աջակցություն Է ցուցաբերել «Ալ Քաիդա»-ին: Ինչպես նշվում Է փաստաթղթում, Սաուդյան Արաբիայի իշխանությունները գիտեին ահաբեկչությունը կատարածներից առնվազն երեքին, որոնք այդ թագավորության հպատակներին Էին եւ կապեր ունեին նշված ահաբեկչական ցանցի հետ:
Այդ կապակցությամբ հայցվորները պնդում են, որ առանց Էր Ռիադի օգնության, սեպտեմբերի 11-ի ահաբեկչական գործողությունները չԷին կարող իրականացվել: Այսպիսով, «Սաուդյան Արաբիան հայցվորների առջեւ պատասխանատվություն Է կրում այն ամբողջ վնասի համար», որն իրենց հասցվել Է այդ գրոհների հետեւանքով, ներառյալ ստացված վնասվածքները, ինչպես նաեւ հարազատների ու մերձավորների զոհվելը, նշվում Է դատարանին ներկայացված փաստաթղթում:
Հայցվորները խնդրում են դրամական փոխհատուցում գանձել Սաուդյան Արաբիայի իշխանություններից, որի չափը չի մատնանշվում:
Անցյալ տարվա սեպտեմբերին ԱՄՆ-ի Կոնգրեսը քվեարկել Է այն օրինագծի օգտին, որը 2001 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 11-ի ահաբեկչական գործողությունների զոհերի ընտանիքներին թույլ Է տալիս հայցեր հարուցել Սաուդյան Արաբիայի դեմ: Ավելի վաղ ԱՄՆ-ում քանիցս ենթադրություններ են արվել, որ թագավորության իշխանություններն աչք Էին փակում «Ալ Քաիդա»-ի գործունեության վրա եւ նույնիսկ կարող Էին կապեր ունենալ այդ խմբավորման հետ, ուստի մասամբ պատասխանատու են այդ ահաբեկչության համար:
Էր Ռիադը ժխտում Էր իր մեղսակցությունը, ինչպես նաեւ հայտարարում, որ կվաճառի հարյուր միլիարդավոր դոլարների իր ակտիվները Միացյալ Նահանգներում, որպեսզի թույլ չտա դրանց կալանում ամերիկացիների քաղաքացիների հայցերի գծով դատական որոշումների դեպքում, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
