Դաունի համախտանիշի համաշխարհային օրն է

Աշխարհն արդեն 12-րդ անգամ նշում է Դաունի համախտանիշի համաշխարհային օրը: 2011 թվականի դեկտեմբերին, ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեան որոշում կայացրեց մարտի 21-ը նշել որպես Դաունի համախտանիշի համաշխարհային օր` նպատակ ունենալով բարձրաձայնել խնդիրները և կարևորել նրանց դերը հասարակության մեջ:
Նշենք, որ 21 թվի ընտրությունը պայմանավորված է Դաունի համախտանիշն առաջացնող 21-րդ ավելորդ քրոմոսոմի առկայությամբ: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարարությունից:
Դաունի համախտանիշի համաշխարհային օրվա միջոցառումներն այս տարի կրում են «Իմ ձայնը, իմ համայնքը» կարգախոսը` նրանց խոսքը լսելի դարձնելու, հիմքեր ստեղծելու հասարակության մեջ ամբողջովին և լիարժեք ներգրավված լինելու առումով:
Դաունի համախտանիշն ի հայտ է գալիս այն ժամանակ, երբ երեխան ունի 21-րդ քրոմոսոմի լրիվ կամ մասնակի հավելյալ կրկնօրինակ, ինչը կոչվում է տրիսոմիա։ Ամեն տարի աշխարհում ծնվում է այդ համախտանիշով 3000-5000 երեխա: Այս երեխաներն ավելի դանդաղ են զարգանում, քան մյուսները, բայց նրանք լիովին ունակ են սովորելու և շատերը նույնիսկ կարող են մասնագիտություն ձեռք բերել, ունենալ ընկերներ և զուգընկերներ, վարել լիարժեք և անկախ կյանք: Այդ համախտանիշով հիվանդ երեխաները կարող են հասնել կյանքում լուրջ ձեռքբերումների ծնողների հոգատարության և աջակցության, բժշկական գնության և խորհրդատվության, ինչպես նաև հասարակության լիարժեք հանդուրժողականության և աջակցության շնորհիվ:
Դաունի համախտանիշով երեխայի ծնվելու հավանականությունն ավելի բարձր է մեծ տարիքով ծնողների մոտ: Ուստի, հիվանդության կանխարգելման նպատակով երեխայի ծնունդը պլանավորելուց առաջ զույգերին խորհուրդ է տրվում անցնել բժշկագենետիկական խորհրդատվություն: Միևնույն ժամանակ, ճիշտ և ժամանակին կազմակերպված վերականգնողական բուժումը և շրջապատի բարենպաստ վերաբերմունքը մեծապես կնպաստեն հասարակության մեջ այս երեխաների լիարժեք ինտեգրմանը:
