Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի ելույթը ՄԱԿ-ի բարձր հարթակից վկայում է, որ պաշտոնական Երևանն այսուհետև իր անվտանգությունն ապահովելու հարցում հիմնվելու է ոչ թե միջազգային ճնշման հնարավոր գործոնի, այլ ռազմաքաղաքական և իրավական գործընթացներ կյանքի կոչելու սեփական ներուժի վրա: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նման տեսակետ հայտնեց քաղաքագետ Հրանտ Մելիք-Շահնազարյանը:
Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը սեպտեմբերի 29-ին Նյու Յորքում մասնակցել է ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր վեհաժողովի 70-րդ նստաշրջանին, որտեղ հանդես է եկել ելույթով: Ի թիվս այլ թեմաների` նախագահն անդրադարձել է սահմանային լարվածությանն ու Ադրբեջանի գործողություններին: Նա, մասնավորապես, նշել է, որ Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիվ քաղաքականության շարունակվելու դեպքում Հայաստանին այլընտրություն չի մնա, քան իրականացնել անհրաժեշտ իրավական ևռազմաքաղաքական քայլեր՝ ապահովելու Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության անվտանգություննու խաղաղզարգացումը:
«Իրավական և ռազմաքաղաքական տերմինները կարող են ենթադրել գործողությունների բավական լայն սպեկտոր` սկսած Արցախի անկախության ճանաչումից կամ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության միացնելու գործընթացից մինչև Ադրբեջանի ռազմական պոտենցիալի ոչնչացնելուն ուղղված քայլեր` օգտագործելով, բնականաբար, հայկական բանակի տրամադրության տակ եղած համապատասխան զինատեսակները»,-ասաց քաղաքագետը: Նրա կարծիքով` Սերժ Սարգսյանը, խոսելով նման հարցերի շուրջ ՄԱԿ-ի հարթակից, իր դժգոհությունն է արտահայտում միջազգային հանրությանը` Ադրբեջանին զսպելուն ուղղված թույլ գո րծողությունների կապակցությամբ: «Ըստ էության` մենք տեսնում ենք, որ Ադրբեջանի սադրանքները մնում են անպատասխան, իսկ գնահատականները հավասարեցված են, հավասար մեղադրանքներ են պարունակում հակամարտող երկու կողմերին: Այս մոտեցումը չի կարող բավարարել պաշտոնական Երևանին»,-նշեց Հրանտ Մելիք-Շահնազարյանը:
Իսկ թե ինչ ակնկալել նշյալ հայտարարության հասցեատերերից և հատկապես միջազգային հանրությունից, Հրանտ Մելիք-Շահնազարյանը նշեց. «Միանշանակ միջազգային հանրությունը պետք է Ադրբեջանին դրդի հրաժարվել սադրիչ քաղաքականությունից. ինչու չէ նաև պատժամիջոցների կիրառում և ստիպում, որ Ադրբեջանը վերադառնա խաղաղ բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջ և հարցը կարգավորի խաղաղ ճանապարհով»,-ընդգծեց քաղաքագետը` ավելացնելով, որ քանի դեռ այս ամենը չի արվում, Ադրբեջանը շարունակում է սպառնալիք մնալ ոչ միայն Հայաստանի, այլև ողջ տարածաշրջանի համար:
