ԵԽԽՎ ղեկավար Պեդրո Ագրամունտը Ռուսաստանի ներկայացուցիչների հետ Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում հանդիպումների նախօրեին պատմել է, որ Ռուսաստանի ու Վեհաժողովի հարաբերությունների համար խոչընդոտ են մնում Ուկրաինական ճգնաժամին վերաբերող հարցերը։

«Մասնավորապես ուկրաինական հակամարտությանը վերաբերող դժվար հարցերն առաջվա պես մնում են Վեհաժողովի ու Ռուսաստանի խորհրդարանի միջեւ տարաձայնությունների պատճառը»,- նշել է Ագրամունտը։

«Իմ ընտրվելուց հետո ես որոշել եմ քայլեր ձեռնարկել ռուս խորհրդարանականների հետ հարաբերությունները կարգավորելու համար, որպեսզի միասին փնտրենք ուղիներ ԵԽԽՎ-ում նորմալ ու լիարժեք համագործակցությունը վերականգնելու համար»,- նշել է նա։

«Այդ քայլերը չեն հակասում Ուկրաինայի ինքնիշխանությունն ո ւ տարածքային ամբողջականությունը աջակցելու հարցում ԵԽԽՎ դիրքորոշմանը»,- հավելել է Ագրամունտը։

«Մենք պետք է հիշենք, որ մեր հարաբերությունները վատացել են Ղրիմի մասին Ռուսաստանի որոշումներից հետո։ Այդ հարցը, ինչպես նաեւ Ուկրաինայում սկսված հակամարտությունում Ռուսաստանի դերակատարումը, մնում են օրակարգում, քանի որ մենք աջակցում ենք Ուկրաինայի, ինչպես նաեւ Եվրոպայի խորհրդի բոլոր անդամ պետությունների ինքնիշխանությունն ու տարածքային ամբողջականությունը»,- ասել է ԵԽԽՎ ղեկավարը։

2014 ու 2015 թթ ԵԽԽՎ-ն ընդունել էր բանաձեւեր, որոնցով ռուսական պատվիակությանը զրկել էր նստաշրջանում քվեարկելու, նաեւ կանոնադրական մարմինների աշխատանքին ու ընտրությունների մշտադիտարկմանը մասնակցելու իրավունքից։ Ի պատասխան Ռուսաստանի պատվիրակությունը լքել էր ԵԽԽՎ-ն։

Անցած տարվա հունվարին Ռուսաստանը առաջին անգամ որոշել է չուղարկել պատվիրակության լիազորությունների հաստատման համար անհրաժեշտ փաստաթղթերը, սակայն չի հրաժարվել ԵԽ-ի հետ աշխատանքից։ Այս տարի Ռուսաստանը նույնպես չի ուղարկել անհրաժեշտ փաստաթղթերը։
