Հայաստանյան քաղաքական ընտրությունները մշտապես աչքի են ընկել մի չափազանց յուրատեսակ առանձնահատկությամբ. դրանցում մշտապես հայտնվում է մեկն, ով ինքն իր վրա մի հետաքրքիր գործառույթ է վերցնում՝ դատարկաբանողի, օդ տատանողի, կամ, ինչպես ժողովուրդն է սիրում ասել, բլթցնողի: 2017-ի ընտրությունները ևս,ինչպես կարելի է նկատել, զերծ չմնացին այս տխրահռչակ հատկությունից,ու հիմա ասպարեզը հատկացված է Արամ Զ. Սարգսյանին, ում դաշտում հայտնվելը նույնքան անիմաստ է ու ոչինչ չասող, որքան նրա կողմից ծավալած քարոզարշավը:
