Նորաձեւության հետքից կանանց վազքը մեջքի խնդիրներ է առաջացնում: Այսպիսի եզրակացության են հանգել Խիրոպրակտիկայի բրիտանական ասոցիացիայի մասնագետները, փոխանցում է The Independent-ը: Հետազոտության արդյունքներով պարզվել է, որ հարցման ենթարկված կանանց երրորդ մասը մեջքի խնդիրներ է ունեցել որոշակի հագուստի կամ կոշիկի պատճառով: Ըստ որում՝ կանանց 28 տոկոսը տեղյակ է, որ հագուստն ազդում է իր առողջության վրա, բայց, միեւնույն է, այն հագնում է:

Նեղ ջինսեր: Դրանք սահմանափակում են ոտքերի շարժունությունը՝ ստիպելով լարել մեջքի մկանները:

Բարձր կրունկներ: Դրանց պատճառով քայլն ավելի կարճ է դառնում, որի հետեւանքով մեծանում է գոտկատեղի հատվածի վրա ծանրաբեռնվածությունը: Վատթարանում է կոնքի հատվածին արյան մատակարարումը, եւ կարող են առաջանալ գինեկոլոգիայի հետ կապված խնդիրներ:

Կատարված հետազոտության համաձայն՝ կանանց 73 տոկոսը տառապում է մեջքի ցավերով: Ըստ որում՝ 28 տոկոսը գիտի, որը հագուստով եւ կեցվածքով է պայմանավորված մեջքի, պարանոցի ցավը: Մոտ 33 տոկոսը տեղյակ չէ այս փոխկապի մասին:

Հաստատվել է նաեւ, որ կանանց մոտ 20 տոկոսը ոտքի հետեւի մասը չպահող՝ առանց կրկնկամասի կոշիկ է հագնում: 10 տոկոսն ընտրում է ծանր զարդեր (օրինակ՝ ծանր մանյակներ):
