Կիմ Չեն Նամի՝ ԿԺԴՀ-ի առաջնորդի ավագ եղբոր մարմինը դեռեւս Քուալա Լումպուրում Է: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այդ մասին հայտնել Է Kyodo գործակալությունը՝ հղում անելով Մալայզիայի առողջապահության նախարար Սուբրամանիամ Բատհասիվամի հայտարարությանը:
«Ներկայում ոչ մի փոփոխություն չկա, ստատուս-քվոն պահպանվում Է»,- ասել Է նա լրագրողներին: Նախարարի խոսքով՝ Կիմ Չեն Նամի մերձավոր հարազատները դեռեւս ոչ մի ցուցում չեն տվել՝ ինչպես վարվել նրա մարմնի հետ: 
TBS ճապոնական հեռուստաալիքը մարտի 28-ին հայտնել Է, որ Մալայզիայի իշխանությունները գաղտնի բանակցություններ են վարում Փենյանի հետ, որոնք ուղղված են այդ հարցի լուծմանը: Բացի այդ, կողմերը փորձում են ելք գտնել այն բանի հետ կապված իրադրությունից, որ Քուալա Լումպուրում ԿԺԴՀ-ի դեսպանությունում թաքնվում են Հյուսիսային Կորեայի երկու քաղաքացիներ, որոնց մալայզիական իշխանությունները կասկածում են Կիմ Չեն Նամի սպանությանը մեղսակից լինելու մեջ: 
Բանակցությունները, ինչպես նշվում Է, կոչված են նաեւ վճռել Փենյանում Մալայզիայի դեսպանության ինը աշխատակիցների ճակատագիրը, որոնց թույլ չեն տալիս մեկնել ԿԺԴՀ-ից: 
The Straits Times թերթի տվյալներով՝ Մալայզիայի իշխանությունները մտադիր են Կիմ Չեն Նամի մարմինը ուղարկել Չինաստան: Ինչպես նշում Է հրատարակությունը, «առայժմ չկա որոշակիություն՝ ում Է հանձնվելու մարմինը՝ Հյուսիսային Կորեայի պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչներին, թե Կիմ Չեն Նամի ընտանիքին»: 
Փետրվարի 13-ին Քուալա Լումպուրի օդանավակայանում կատարված սպանության մեղադրանքներ են առաջադրվել երկու կանանց՝ Վիետնամի եւ Ինդոնեզիեայի քաղաքացիների: Ոստիկանությունը նաեւ կարծում Է, որ ԿԺԴՀ-ի դեսպանության տարածքում թաքնվում են  երկու կասկածյալներ: Բացի դրանից, ԿԺԴՀ-ի եւս չորս քաղաքացիներ հեռացել են Քուալա Լումպուրից միջադեպի օրը եւ արդեն գտնվում են Փենյանում, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
