 Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև սպառազինությունների բալանսը խախտված է, սակայն ընդհանուր ուժերի բալանսը պահպանվում է, քանի որ հայկական բանակը մի շարք առավելություններ ունի ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերի նկատմամբ: Ռուսական լրատվամիջոցների ներկայացուցիչների հետ հանդիպմանն այս մասին ասել է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Վիգեն Սարգսյանը:

«Եթե խոսենք սպառազինության բալանսի մասին, ապա այդ բալանսը խախտված է: Բալանսը խախտված է, որովհետև բավական երկար ժամանակ Ադրբեջանը շատ մեծ բյուջետային միջոցներ է ծախսել տարբեր երկրներից զենք ձեռք բերելու վրա: Այս գործընթացը, բնականաբար, հանգեցրել է տարածաշրջանում սպառազինության բալանսի լուրջ խախտման: Իսկ եթե խոսենք ընդհանուր ուժերի բալանսի մասին, ես կարծում եմ, որ կարելի է համաձայնել միջազգային փորձագետների գնահատականների հետ, ովքեր կարծում են, որ բալանսը պահպանված է, քանի որ հայկական զինված ուժերը ունեն մի շարք առավելություններ, որոնք թույլ են տալիս չեզոքացնել սպառազինության բալանսի խախտումը: Ես կարծում եմ, որ մենք պետք է ինտենսիվ աշխատենք, որպեսզի  սպառազինության բալանսը նույնպես վերականգնվի»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` նշել է նախարարը:

Անդրադառնալով հայկական զինված ուժերը արդիականացնելու և նոր սպառազինություն ձեռք բերելու վերաբերյալ հարցին` Վիգեն Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է, որ դա մշտական գործընթաց է: «Մենք անդադար երկխոսություն ունենք ոչ միայն Ռուսաստանի, այլ նաև մի շարք ուրիշ գործընկերների հետ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության զինված ուժերի արդիականացման համար:  Մենք գնում ենք ամենատարբեր սպառազինություն` ելնելով զինված ուժերի զարգացման մեր պլանից»,- ասել է Սարգսյանը:

Նախարարը հավելել է, որ հնարավորության դեպքում Հայաստանի զինված ուժերի սպառազինության ցուցադրվում է ռազմական շքերթների կամ լրագրողների համար հատուկ շրջայցերի ընթացքում: Մենք հետաքրքրված ենք այնպիսի տեխնիկա ձեռք բերելու հարցում, որը հնարավորություն կտա բալանսավորել սպառազինությունը և կանխել Ադրբեջանի կողմից սպառազինության մի ամբողջ շարքի կիրառումը»,- եզրափակել է Վիգեն Սարգսյանը:
