 Հարցմանը մասնակցած ֆրանսիացիների 61 տոկոսը հանդես Է գալիս այն բանի դեմ, որ երկրի նախկին վարչապետ Մանուել Վալսը մտադիր Է նախագահական ընտրություններում աջակցել «Հառաջ» շարժման առաջնորդ Էմանուել Մակրոնին: Այս մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը,  վկայում են հասարակական կարծիքի հարցման  արդյունքները, որը կատարվել Է France Info ռադիոկայանի պատվերով:
Հարցվածների մեծ մասի կարծիքով՝ Վալսը «դավաճանաբար խախտել Է» Ֆրանսիայի սոցիալիստական կուսակցության գծով իր զինակից, կուսակցության պաշտոնական թեկնածու Բենուա Ամոնի աջակցությամբ հանդես գալու «ավելի վաղ ստանձնած պարտավորությունները»: Հակառակ կարծիքի Է հարցման մասնակիցների սոսկ 37 տոկոսը, որոնք ողջունում են Վալսի որոշումը:    
Հարցմանը մասնակցած՝ սոցկուսակցության կողմնակիցներն ու անդամները գործնականում բաժանվել են երկու տարբեր ճամբարների, ինչը վկայում Է այդ կազմակերպության մեջ տիրող չափազանց լարված իրադրության մասին: Ստացված տվյալների համաձայն՝ 52 տոկոսը դատապարտում Է Վալսին, մինչդեռ 48 տոկոսը պաշտպանում Է նրան: 
Հարցումը կատարվել Է մարտի 29-ին եւ 30-ին Համացանցում՝ 1019 մարդու ներկայացուցչական ընտրանքի հիման վրա:
Ավելի վաղ Ֆրանսիայի նախկին վարչապետ սոցիալիստ Մանուել Վալսը հայտարարել Է, որ նախագահական ընտրություններում մտադիր Է պաշտպանել կենտրոնամետ թեկնածու Էմանուել Մակրոնին, այլ ոչ թե իր կուսակցությունից հավակնորդ Բենուա Ամոնին: «Ես չեմ կարող գնալ հանրապետության համար որեւԷ ռիսկի: Ես քվեարկելու եմ Էմանուել Մակրոնի օգտին»,-հայտարարել Է Վալսը՝ հանդես գալով BFM հեռուստաալիքի եթերում: Դա հետ մեկտեղ նա ընդգծել Է, որ մտադիր չԷ որեւիցե կերպ մասնակցել Մակրոնի նախընտրական արշավին:
Հունվարին կրթության նախկին նախարար Բենուա Ամոնը առաջատարը դարձավ Սոցիալիստական կուսակցության փրայմերիզների արդյունքներով՝ առաջ անցնելով իր գլխավոր մրցակցից՝ Մանուել Վալսից: 
France 2 հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում Ամոնը հայտարարել Է, թե զարմացած չԷ իրեն աջակցելուց Վալսի հրաժարումից: Դա ուղղված Է ինձ թուլացնելուն: Իմ ընտրարշավում ես խոսում եմ ֆրանսիացիների առօրյա կյանքի, այլ ոչ թե Վալսի կյանքի մասին»,-հայտարարել Է Ամոնը: 
Ֆրանսիայի նախագահական ընտրությունների առաջին փուլը նշանակված Է ապրիլի 23-ին: Ինչպես սպասվում Է, հիմնական պայքարը կծավալվի ծայրահեղ աջ «Ազգային ճակատ»-ի առաջնորդ Մարին լե Պենի, կենտրոնամետ Էմանուել Մակրոնի եւ աջ կենտրոնամետ Ֆրանսուա Ֆիյոնի միջեւ: 
Ընտրությունների ֆավորիտը համարվում Է Մակրոնը: Փորձագետները կարծում են, որ նա լե Պենի հետ դուրս կգա երկրորդ փուլ եւ այնտեղ կգերազանցի լե Պենին, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
