Սթոքհոլմի տեխնոլոգիական ինստիտուտի գիտնականները պարզել են, որ մարդու աղիքների մանրէները կարգավորում են զանազան հիվանդությունների դեմ պայքարող հակաօքսիդանտի մակարդակը,-տեղեկացնում է Mediacal Daily-ն:
Գիտնականները պնդում են, որ աղիների միկրոֆլորան կարգավորում է գլուտատիոնի մակարդակը ոչ միայն բարակ աղիներում, այլեւ լյարդում ու հաստ աղիքում: Ինչպես գիտենք բարակ աղիներում գիտությանը հայտնի ավելի քան 1000 տեսակի մանրէներ կան, իսկ դրանց ընդհանուր քանակը միլիարդների է հասնում:
Մկների վրա կատարված փորձերի ժամանակ փորձագետները գնահատել են ամինաթթուների մակարդակն այն անոթներում, որոնցով արյունը հասնում է աղեստամոքսային տրակտին ու լյարդին: Նրանք ախտորոշել են գլիցինի ցածր մակարդակ հաստ աղիքում, իսկ դա վկայում է այն մասին, որ աղիքային մանրէներն են կարգավորում այդ օրգաններում գլոիտատիոնի մետաբոլիզմը:
Գլիցինի ու մյուս ամինաթթուների մակարդակի նվազումը պայմանավորված է 2 րդ տեսակի շաքարախտով, լյարդի ոչ ալկոհոլային ճարպային հիվանդությամբ, ու մետաբոլիկ այլ խանգարումներով, ուստի աղեստամոքսային տրակտում միկրոբային ամինաթթուների հետագա ուսումնասիրությունը կարող է լույս սփռել այդ հիվանդությունների զարգացման վրա:
