Եվրամիությունը հրաժարվում Է «Հյուսիսային հոսք-2»-ի խողովակաշարի շինարարությանը խանգարելու փորձերից եւ առաջարկում Է Մոսկվայի հետ բանակցություններ վարել այս հարցի շուրջ: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է The Wall Street Journal-ը:
Եթե ավելի վաղ, գտնվելով մի շարք պետությունների, մասնավորապես, Լեհաստանի ճնշման ներքո, ԵՄ-ի իշխանությունները փորձում Էին կասեցնել նախագծի իրագործումը, ապա այժմ, գրում Է հրատարակությունը, Բրյուսելն առաջարկում Է Մոսկվայի հետ բանակցություններ վարել եւ ցրել առանձին երկրների երկյուղները «Հյուսիսային հոսք-2»-ի անվտանգության հարցում:
Մարտի 30-ին Reuters-ը, վկայակոչելով Politiken դանիական թերթը, հայտնել Է, որ Եվրահանձնաժողովը փաստաթուղթ Է ուղարկել ԵՄ-ի անդամներին, որում առաջարկել Է գազի խողովակաշարի կառուցման նախագիծը քննարկել իրավական դաշտում եւ բանակցություններ սկսել աշխատանքների համաձայնեցման շուրջ:
«Մեզ «Հյուսիսային հոսք-2»-ը դուր չի գալիս քաղաքական առումով: Բայց Եվրահանձնաժողովը դրան խոչընդոտելու իրավաբանական հիմքեր չունի»,-հրատարակությունը մեջբերել Է ԵՀ-ի ներկայացուցիչ Աննա-Քայսա Իտկոնենի խոսքը:
