Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանի կողմից Հայաստանի դեմ վճռի կայացումը դեռևս չի նշանակում, որ երկիրն ունի լրջագույն խնդիր դատական համակարգում: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` մարտի 31-ին լրագրողների հետ ճեպազրույցում ասաց ՄԻԵԴ-ում ՀՀ կառավարության ներկայացուցիչ, ՀՀ նախագահի խորհրդական Գևորգ Կոստանյանը: «Եթե նայենք և համադրենք Եվրոպայի խորհրդի բոլոր անդամ երկրների դեմ կաացվող որոշումները, կհասկանանք, որ Հայաստանը Եվրոպայի խորհրդում ամենանվազ գումար վճարած երկրների շարքում է, ինչպես նաև ամենապակաս թվով վճիռներ ունի»,- ասաց Կոստանյանը:
Նա նշեց, որ բոլոր ժողովրդավարական երկրների դեմ ՄԻԵԴ-ը վճիռներ է կայացնում, այդ թվում նաև հին ժողովրդավարություն ունեցող պետությունների դեմ, ինչպիսիք են` Մեծ Բրիտանիան, Ֆրանսիան, Շվեդիան և այլն:
«Հետևաբար, վճիռների կայացման փաստը դեռևս չի նշանակում, որ դատական համակարգում երկիրն ունի լրջագույն խնդիրներ»,- ասաց ՄԻԵԴ-ում ՀՀ կառավարության ներկայացուցիչը:
Խնդիրը նրանում է, որ երկիրը պետք է միջոցներ ձեռնարկի, որպեսզի ներպետական մակարդակում նվազագույնի հասցնի մարդու իրավունքների խախտման դեպքերը, որպեսզի դա չդառնա միջազգային դատական ատյանի քննարկման առարկա:
