Անվտանգությունը և առաջընթացը հայ ժողովրդի արդար պահանջն է ու Հայաստանի Հանրապետական կուսակցության առաջիկա տեսլականը: Մարտի 31-ին Կարեն Դեմիրճյանի անվան մարզահամերգային համալիրում ՀՀԿ-ի նախընտրական քարոզարշավի ամփոփիչ միջոցառմանն այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար, ՀՀԿ համամասնական ցուցակի առաջին համար Վիգեն Սարգսյանը: «Միասին մենք հաղթելու ենք:  Իմ կողքին կանգնած են մարտական ուղի անցած մեր վետերանները,  ազատամ արտիկները, երկրապահ կամավորականները, մարդիկ ովքեր իրենց սխրանքով վաստակել են մեր հասարակության առաջին շարքերում կանգնելու իրավունքը»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` նշեց Սարգսյանը:

Նա հավելեց, որ հենց նրանք արցախյան ազատամարտում ապահովեցին հայ ժողովրդի  հաղթանակը, նրանք կանգնեցին հայկական փառապանծ զինված ուժերի կողքին` բարձր պահելով հայ  ազգի պատիվն ու արժանապատվությունը: «Այս մարդիկ առավել քան որևէ մեկը գիտեն, թե ինչ է նշանակում անվտանգություն և խաղաղություն: Ես շատ հպարտ եմ, որ նրանցից  շատերը մեր կուսակցության անդամ են ու մեր երկրի առաջընթացն ու անվտանգությունը ապահովելու գործում վստահում են Հանրապետական կուսակցությանը: Ես հպարտ եմ, որ նրանք մեր գաղափարակից ընկերներն են ու շատ լավ գիտակցում եմ, որ դա մեծ պատասխանատվություն է ու մեծ պատիվ»,- եզրափակեց Վիգեն Սարգսյանը:

Հայաստանում Ազգային ժողովի հերթական ընտրությունները կկայանան ապրիլի 2-ին: Նախընտրական քարոզարշավը մեկնարկել է մարտի 5-ից և կեզրափակվի մարտի 31-ին: Ազգային ժողովի ընտրություններին մասնակցելու համար գրանցվել է 9 քաղաքական ուժ, որից 5-ը կուսակցություններ են, 4-ը դաշինք: Ազգային ժողովի ընտրություններին կմասնակցեն Հայաստանի Հանրապետական, «Հայկական վերածնունդ», Հայաստանի Կոմունիստական, Հայ Յեղափոխական Դաշնակցություն, «Ազատ դեմոկրատներ» կուսակցությունները, ինչպես նաև «Ծառուկյան», «Ելք», Կոնգրես-ՀԺԿ և «Օհանյան-Րա ֆֆի-Օսկանյան» դաշինքները:
