Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում տեղի ունեցած և տեղի ունենալիք գործընթացները Ադրբեջանի ներքին գործն են։ Ոչ մի միջազգային կազմակերպություն կամ երկիր իրավունք չունի միջամտել մեր ներքին գործերին: Ահա այսպիսի հայտարարությամբ է հանդես եկել Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը՝ Ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմի առաջին տարելիցի կապակցությամբ մի խումբ զինծառայողների հետ կայացած հանդիպման ժամանակ: 

ԼՈւՐԵՐ.com-ի հետ զրույցում Արցախի նախագահի մամուլի խոսնակ Դավիթ Բաբայանը, պատասխանելով Ալիևի հայտարարություններին, նշեց՝ բնական է, որ Ադրբեջանի նյութական ու բարոյական կուրուստներն իրենց ներքին գործն են. «Ադրբեջանն ապրիլյան պատերազմի ժամանակ տվել է 4000 զոհ, չնայած, որ ադրբեջանական իշխանությունները, բնական է, չեն ընդունում, 300 հազար մարդ իրենց տները լքել են քառօրյայի ժամանակ: Սա իրենց գործն է, իհա՛րկե:

Բայց մյուս կողմից՝ նման հայտարարությունները կոպտագույն ձևով խախտում են միջազգային իրավունքը: Սա ոչ այլ ինչ է, քան հանցագործ պահվածք՝ միջազգային իրավունքի և քաղաքակիրթ նորմերի նկատմամբ: Սա մի մարդ է, ով արհամարհում է անգամ սեփական Սահմանադրությունը՝ իր կնոջը նշանակելով երկրի փոխնախագահ, որն անգամ իրենց օրենքներով՝ արգելվում է: Գործ ունենք ահաբեկչական, կոռումպացված պետության հետ»,- ասաց Բաբայանը:
